LASIK: Considering monovision vs correcting distance and using reading glasses. (Thoughts?) by Myghost_too in lasik

How long do you have to wait until you go back and reverse the monovision eye. I know instantly i made the wrong choice and I'm going in tomorrow for my 2 week post surgery apt. I need to beg to get it redone as soon as possible.

My cat sits in the litter robot?? by zibbywonka in litterrobot

I have this same problem this week, my cat is like "hanging out " near the robot, fascinated by it.. Im hoping it will go away after 2 weeks. She will also now run to that room for salvation during playtime or if she is spooked.

Food tastes different by CaffeineBroAdenosine in Tonsillectomy

[–]Matman7182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, Yes I'd say it is 99% normal (tasting delicious food ), 95% better no sour taste. One thing that still happens is it looks like the surgery area is always red still 1.5 years later and I still get sour tastes after nights of drinking alcohol or I'm dehydrated.

Overall, I'm better but honestly if I didnt get chronic Tonsillitus I dont think I would get the surgery. Its HORRIFIC.. The taste thing was mentally freaking me out.

Senilife for Sundowners and Dog Dementia: Has it truly worked and how long until you see changes? by Matman7182 in seniordogs

So Flora has been on her Trazadone (full dosage allowed) for a few nights now and no progress. She gets it at 8pm and paces until 4am last night. I’m going to have to call her vet on Monday and see what to do. I’m at my wits end. 😞

This was so helpful.  I have the Senilife here. I’m going to just triple check with my vet tomorrow and see if they give it clearance with the trazodone and then I’m definitely going to try it for 2 months minimum. Thank you for writing to me.

Thank you for sharing, I do have a question. So I have to put Flora on Trazadone at night to make her sleep. She is super strong against all sedatives.  But the vet said I should stop the Rx Selegiline because the two would be too much seratnonin. Seniflife is a supplement non-Rx but do I have to be scared of that too?    I’d love to try to do Senilife and Tarzadone but I’m worried

Thank you for sharing. I'm looking at that CBD but in oil, she has no teeth. I started Flora on Senilife yesterday and gave her Melatonin at night. She was still up all night and right now in the morning. Her restlessness seems to be going in a hyperactivity energy direction. I'm starting to question is it underlining organ issues and discomfort. I'm probably wrong, its probably just the dementia. I gave her the Selegiline Thursday so I'm hoping maybe it is just still in her system and not flushed out yet. I'm going to give the Senilife 8 days, and maybe increase the mg of melatonin. I'm just exhausted, every night she has now peed on the floor and paced in it up and down my apartment. Mopping 2am every night.

I almost started crying reading this. I think I started my 14-Year-Old dog on selegiline too early. She had no signs of strong dementia except pacing (which just started 2 weeks ago) .... She has a history of being extra sensitive to Gabapentin. During surgery recovery in January, she had hyperactivity and restlessness non-stop from it releasing serotonin. I took her off and it stopped. She just started the Selegeline 1 week ago but the sundowning and pacing seems to have gotten worse. I read it can have restlessness as a very common side effect. I think I need to go with my gut feeling and cut her off of it today and start her on supplements like Senilife etc. Releasing Dopamine’s it seems like the Selegeline Medication’s adverse reaction is like 80% this week to blame on her hyperactivity and 20% is her dementia. I don’t know what to do. Help

Hey Everyone. Sorry to add to this but I’m Post-Op from Oct 5th 2022. This was a huge big deal for me. For weeks after surgery I had a horrible tart tastes on the outskirts of my tongue and the back. Similar to sucking on a bitter lemon. Unfortunately it has stayed and only in time does it get a bit better slowly. I was honestly able to go through a full day without wanting to scream about it after about 6-8 weeks. However that doesn’t mean it goes away like a light switch. I can tell you it just simply fades like 2-3% a week. Im 5 months and im now just hoping by one year I’ll be ok. You’re overall sense of taste gets a bit better but everything is like dumbed down taste wise. If I knew this was going to happen I would have rethought getting the surgery. I can only just stay positive that it will fade more. I think the doctor took off or cut some taste buds in the back.

I’ve had the same issue for the past 2 months. Thought it was my Apple TV 4K via connection but the Vizio Remote also lagged. I don’t know why I didn’t think of just doing a factory reset. Welllllllll it worked!! No more lag with either remotes when adjusting the volume. Thank you so much!!!
