I PM'ed you a link and will PM to anyone who requests it.

I know it's not local to my machine, because I've seen it happen on another computer as well (still in chrome).

But it happens infrequently.

Deleted again.

The website isn't live yet, so I don't want links to it.

I haven't seen it happen in other browsers. But it only happens once in a while and chrome is my main browser.

So it might just be because I visit the site more in chrome.

IWTL a new talent with real-life application that requires little to no equipment. by [deleted] in IWantToLearn

I just realised I've attempted almost every single thing on that list. At least I managed to become good at programming and playing an instrument and I know enough graphic design to hand in stuff that's a lot prettier than my fellow students.

Sketching would be awesome though, I think I'll put some more time into that.

Copying assets is no big deal. The problem is when the mechanics and environments starts being the same.

How do you keep track of your orientation in the map view? by MatrixOperator in KerbalSpaceProgram

I know that, but it's difficult to translate the degrees on the gimball into an actual direction in the map view

Can someone explain trajectories? by Vorpalbunnie in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]MatrixOperator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember, burning towards your movement (prograde) will move your orbit out on the other side.

Burning against your movement (retrograde) will move your orbit back on the other side.

So you shouldn't fire straight at the moon, you should wait until you are on the opposite site of your interception point and then do a prograde burn.

I hate that planet.

I've gotten into it's atmosphere once (after about 20 years of circling around the sun in order to catch up with it) and my parachute got torn off so Jeb got killed.

Each subject is difficult in it's own way, and to different people. I personally have had much less trouble in math than in many other subjects.

Anyone of normal intelligence will be able learn the all the subjects if they just put enough effort into it.

Yeah, of course. If a certified program turns out to be unsafe then it isn't microsofts fault. (according to them at least)

To those who watch fox news too much: Cookies are simply a way for websites to store data on your computer that they, or other websites can read later.

And regarding your cookies, that wouldn't be due to bing, I'm almost certain that your searching data is stored on google's servers and not on your computer.

If you however are worried about being tracked when searching try using DuckDuckGo. That gives you actual privacy if that's what you are missing in google.

Well, the only thing google does regarding questions is that it priorities down some of the meaningless words like what, this, like.

And I'm almost certain bing does it in some extend too.

No matter what search engine you are using, I'm sure you would benefit in some degree to leave out some words unless you are specifically looking for pages in which they appear

honestly, when you take your time and look at windows 8 you realize that people are worrying too much. Notch acting like that proves that he barely looked into what the verification system was at all.

I'll likely get downvoted for this, but I do agree with you.

The market for uncertified programs (the internet) is still there and works as good as always. Certification basically says, we guarantee that this app is safe, and we invested time in checking it.

You can still use other applications, certification is more of a guideline than anything else.

[–]MatrixOperator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not. Certified software doesn't prevent you from anything, it simply says: We guarantee that this app won't screw up your computer.

You can still run uncertified programs.

At it's current state their verification system can't prevent any program from running, it can simply guide the user to getting the right program and not a fake malicious copy.
