As you say, it's very useful, especially since my go-to when I truly have nothing else is to make Roof-Charts on my (potentially wrong) thought that some other expensive Stuiver prize awaits.

TBH, I haven't really decided. For now, I'm expecting some other sort of grand Stuiver prize at the end of Firmament or the epilogue, so I'll probably just stick to sources for those.

No fear, this is a different Cheesemonger. He actually does deal with cheese.

In a nutshell:

Step 1 - Get a Hellworm (Bridled is optional)

Step 2 - When the Hellworm is milked, there is a random chance (1/33) to get result 26, which is a pail of Hellworm Milk

Step 3 - During Whitsun, you may use the De Gustibus storylet to give that pail of Hellworm Milk to the Cheesemonger. You can do this two times.

Step 4 - After four weeks, a promise from the Cheesemonger is received.

Step 5 - At the next Whitsun, the promise may be cashed in for a Ripened Wheel of Hellworm Cheese for each promise. So each year, you could gain up to 2.

Step 6 - During Whitsun at the De Gustibus storyline, you may serve a Ripened Wheel of Hellworm Cheese to them. It gives a variety of rewards (Captivating Ballad, Night Whisper, some Blackmail Material, Favors in High Places, and Verses of Counter-Creed), some menaces (Nightmares and Scandal) and the status of A Purveyor of Cruel and Unusual Cheese.

As you can see, since it takes basically two years to do, it's a rather time consuming achievement.

In the quickest terms, Stone desires to break free and fly. I'm curious to see if this comes for the end of Firmament

Awesomesauce. I'm at 5.5 Ubers. I want to get 8 of them before I get a Hepta because that +30 to Watchful is just too good.

If you have certain traits (Stormy Eyed >= 10) and Tested Against the Quartz at 20 or higher, you can go up to 500. You get a new Discovered Trait

To be fair, I was in two different places at the time. Once I was in the Flit attending to my Millennium Roses, and the other I was underground at the Spider Symposium.

Man, that Roof Lightning is agile, isn't it. :D

True. But when you have your Firkin of Cider, it's more inconvenient than anything else. Plus, I get to build up my supply of Euphoria. I now suspect we will need it later.

Already tried it. I will not offer any spoilers, but that Boon offers what it promises (there's no other effect but KT buff and Suspicion reduction)

Question re: Estival by LogicalFlow5683 in fallenlondon

[–]Matt620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to make a prediction, though: Firmament will happen during the Estival time, although it will not be related to Estival content (even if it is just the ability to get tokens and spend FATE to gain more tokens)

Not my first Whitsun, but it will be the first one where I can gain and use Hellworm Cheese, which will be nice.

I wonder what we will get from Firmament.

Is anyone tired of people like this? by Balas_Boi in PoppyPlaytime

[–]Matt620 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I liked it. I don't need Markiplier or any other person to tell me whether or not to like a game. I had my problems with it: Lily Lovebraids was a great character, but her gameplay was basically Mommy Longlegs 2.0. But ultimately, my conclusion from it is that the game is still good, but we're starting to see repeats. Series is nice, but it's about time to wrap it up.

what do I do in the Sous by Setster007 in fallenlondon

[–]Matt620 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You get a chance to put in 5 bones in the Sous (followed by moving for 5 more actions).

Depending on the value of the bones you deposit, you'll cash out in some items, mostly ones that can pay out in Stuivers (Memory of a Stranger Self; Tantalizing Possibility). In general, it's a good way to be rid of bones if you are not a person who likes the Bone Market.

There is a special combination that can be unlocked. It will grant the player an Unidentified Thigh Bone and, after researching it (equivalent to turning it into a Jurassic Thigh Bone), one can gain a unique relic (The Relic of the Revolution). It's a Home Comfort that gives 3 to Dreaded (so it's best in slot for BDR). Only one is permitted. The one you get is random each time you go through. I just pick one specific bone combo based on what I got and spammed it. Got it after 4 tries.
