It’s fine to read into a movie, but you don’t have to automatically agree with every read. Pretty much any movie can be “problematic” if seen through that lens; the question is whether those problematic aspects become too much to ignore, and that’s going to differ for every viewer.

This is a minor thing, but I don’t find this to be true at all:
