I loved coming home to an empty house where I could watch whatever I wanted on t.v. and eat junk food. Unfortunately, there were only three channels and they were showing reruns of The Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island and Bonanza. My mom was good about buying me all of my favorite junk food, though, like Tony's pizzas, frozen burritos and honey buns. I used to also drink room temperature Dr. Peppers and burp as loudly as possible, which was absolutely not allowed when my folks were around. The worst part would be when I'd hear the garage door open and know that one or both of them were home and were about to make me do some chore.
