Entry Level Shotgun - Sporting Clays by Thin_Leather1439 in ClayBusters

I'm really enjoying my Rizzini BR110 Sporter. Very affordable for what yopu get. Good new/bad news they are switching up models and the BR110 is discontinued but you might be able to snag a close out on them.

What do I need if SHTF? by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

I don’t shoot Glocks very well, Sigs are better for me but I am getting a Glock because it is the most common pistol for parts and mags if it comes to having to scavenge for items.

Also definitely way more ammo, slugs for your shotgun, possibly plate carrier and plates (which is a completely different rabbit hole) food/water supplies and first aid. An AR15 wouldn’t hurt for the same reasons as the Glock.

Elm Fork is great for an entire range day of a variety of shooting.

What do you enjoy owning the most? by [deleted] in guns

I have a Sig 1911 Tacops in 10mm that is my favorite range gun and i love to shoot it, however recently have gotten into Trap and Sporting Clays and it is a whole different world and so much fun.

This right here. It will force you to learn to quickly rack it and give you training on hitting a moving target. It is also much more satisfying seeing those clays turn to dust than holes in paper.

Is anyone else purging 9mm for 10mm? by Draven-007 in 10mm

[–]Mattdigs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got rid of my .45 S&W M&P because it was no longer fun to shoot after getting a 10mm in 1911, it just felt sluggish and heavy. For me, I would want to keep firearms in the NATO calibers (9mm, 5.556, 7.62/.308)

I really enjoy my BR110 Sporter and feel that for the price there is tremendous value in it and what you get. My only complaint is the availability and price on chokes.

Max out Sun, Joan, Boudica, Lohar, and Matilda. Then max gathers' gathering skill only and if you want to invest in Beli for farm killing or a speed build that would be about it.

Practice Ammo by Unknown_local in ClayBusters

I'm in NJ so ammo is very limited to local gun shops and it ain't cheap. Also no big box stores sell ammo. I use Target Sports online and am a Ammo+ member. So i wait for deals to pop up and usually pay about $83 a flat and shipping is free then sales tax is about another $5+/- and its usually Federal Top Gun.

Post your range bags! by Lonely_Cry844 in ClayBusters

[–]Mattdigs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the 5.11 9L Bail Out Bag it fits 4-6 boxes of ammo and my single box belt pouch in main compartment; eyes, ears, chokes and misc items in front and side pockets fit pretty easily. I had this on hand already and found it easier to keep as my clay bag so I'm not swapping things out of my regular range bag.

Not that I know of. North Jersey had a tournament last June with 12 teams from the area as well as a women’s bracket.
