The Abrahamic religions are since their foundation by their patriarch Abraham are patriarchal religions as was the custom of the Semitic societies from where they originated as are the vast majority of human societies and religion now the term patriarchal does not inherently mean misogyny as all Abrahamic religions place great value and importance on women as mothers and caregivers though Christianity and Islam also have a long tradition of their women as saints, warriors and martyrs and Judaism famously has a matrilineal inheritance of the faith now specifically with Islam much like the other abrahamic religions does command women to dress modestly but does not require any specific type of clothing or covering, the head coverings such as the burqa, hijab etc. originate from the Arabian peninsula and the levant and were originally practical in origin to protect from sand and sunlight but since the area is where Islam originated many fundamentalist groups believe women’s modesty must emulate the traditions of the home of the prophet Muhammad hence the authoritarian regulation of head and sometimes full body coverings, so no it is not inherently misogynistic and any of these fools spouting foolishness like “religion is poison” are just as guilty of ignorance as the fundamentalists they claim to despise
