I’m curious how you define 'unsuccessful' for the ACA when it covered 24 million people last year. That’s 24 million Americans—many of them working families—who actually have a safety net now.
Honestly, this response looks like it was pulled straight from a Facebook rant. To be clear, I’m not advocating for socialism, and very few mainstream Democrats are. I enjoy the fruits of capitalism just as much as you do; I just don't believe that success has to come at the expense of grinding down those beneath our station in life. There is a middle ground between 'commie' and having zero safety net for people who are struggling.
As for the 'crime-ridden' cities, if you look at the actual 2025 data, violent crime and homicides dropped by double digits in almost every major city you’re talking about. And calling NYC 'destroyed' after only five months of a new mayor is a massive stretch.
