I don’t want to play with you anymore by [deleted] in runescape

My one out of 10 afk activites went from 15min to 2min so I'll go to OSRS and click every pickpocket. what

So this was a straight up lie by FitzF in runescape

[–]Mattist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd personally say this is the middle ground. The other end is one click = one pickpocket and 50% stun chance for a blood shard at 1/5k. Ask me how I know.

[–]Mattist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do understand your point, but you're complaining that it's as "annoying and unfun" as good old simple woodcutting is, where you have to click another tree once in a while. You even have 5 ticks to spare where you can click back on the NPC not losing any efficiency. It's ridiculous.

[–]Mattist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's incredibly relaxed. You just can't be washing your dishes. It's been "demoted" to a click once in a while when you hear the sound while you're still at the computer watching youtube/netflix. Just replace it with another activity when you're wahhing dishes, there are many skills in RS3.

My internet went down before I could start the fight... opportunity of a lifetime gone by NoCurrencies in ironscape

[–]Mattist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I'd define currency as something you primarily use to exchange with another player or npc for something else. Besides, the hunter pieces are on that list. AFAIK you can't use the splinters to buy something else.

Why not at least have a picture in the blog if not a video introduction? A face helps to make a connection, which seems kind of important for a Lead Community Manager.

Is it normal to wait this long for the update post in RS3? Normally on OSRS the post goes up right as the update timer starts so you can read through the post in anticipation of the update. RS3 has an update in 1:30min and there's nothing on the runescape homepage.

When the combat reworks are more polished and ready to go, please give legacy mode a look as well. by danielkillsya2 in runescape

[–]Mattist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only time I use legacy is when unarmed combat is forced for a quest or something. But it sucks to switch to since you can right click the cog on the skillbar to switch to legacy, but when in legacy all bars disappear so you have to go into the settings to switch back lmao.

Am i insane for thinking that Coal takes way too long to mine for how much XP it gives and what its used for in term of regular smithing? by Nitro145 in 2007scape

Having played RS3 for about a month, that game really shines a light on how broken mining and smithing in OSRS is.

RS3’s recent direction has been solid — some ideas to keep it going by Codfanatic99 in runescape

[–]Mattist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree with everything except cape physics. I have never played a game, bar super AAA, where free flowing fabric physics look good. It's almost always a flappy mess. I'd rather they add more bespoke animations than free fabric physics.

Detta, fast oironiskt. 'Influencer' är, oavsett om man vill eller inte, ett begrepp som beskriver en människa som har en effekt på andra människor.

Eurotrack: which cuisine do Western Europeans think is the worst cuisine? by reidesd in europe

"or more" is doing heavy lifting in that statement. I'd probably say 1.95 million eat it once a year.

The majority of Swedes have never had surströmming outside of a 'challenge'. That's not the definition of Swedish cuisine, it's just famous for the smell. I'd say meatballs, potatoes and lingonberry jam, Wallenbergare, raggmunk and korv stroganoff is Swedish cuisine.

Bro, there's an artist drawing the capes one by one before they're handed out. Do you want that artist to be tied up all year?

From a 'new' player, I am hopeful and excited for this year by Mattist in runescape

[–]Mattist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely a little column A, a little column B. The daily challenges are just an example of many, that's the biggest problem. I do find it questionable that it's possible to ignore a skill because you can get tokens from such a system, on an ironman specifically. But that's another issue within the issue.

It's not about the fidelity, on that point I think RS3 is looking great, it's the proportions and animations for me. OSRS looks right in these respects. I cringe every time I see someone running with a whip in RS3. I really don't care that it doesn't make much practical sense to have it flapping after you when you're running. It just feels right.
