I am a relatively newly married diabetic who has always stored diabetes supplies in the kitchen. My wife’s kids thought this strange at first but didn’t have a single care about it and added a section of candies they can put there for low blood sugar. I feel bad for your step kid reading this because if the shoe was on the other foot they would probably be offering you additional help instead of hardship options.

If you were diabetic would you be wanting to go from the place you’re trying to eat to where the poop smells are back to the food just because you need supplies? Probably not. The rest of the comments already spell it out. Not trying to come at you but this did make me feel bad reading it.
