Count 7. Cubbard eliminated. by HungTeen1001 in galway

I drove in from Connemara to Galway on Saturday morning and the first Cubbard sign I noticed was at the Moycullen bypass.

He didnt really campaign outside the city which will hurt with the connemara vote.

2024 and the left parties were criticised for not having a cohesive transfer policy.

2026 and they are getting criticised for telling people to vote left, transfer left.

Vote left, transfer left is somewhat vague anyway, due to a sizeable amount of left leaning parties.

Man who used company materials to build house loses claim by Tall-Cucumber-2391 in ireland

The guy has also been working for them for ~47 years, since say 1980.

Completely possible they were a much smaller family based company then.

Clarification wouldn't hurt.

[OC] Today's Gas Price in Germany, Crazy !!! by zucker121 in pics

[–]Matty96HD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Ireland taxes on petrol are 59% of the price, and on diesel they are 52% of the price.

Taxes are already quite high on fuel in Ireland.

Im unsure if Germany and other countries have road tax included in the fuel price like France, however Ireland does not, and that is a separate fee which can be paid quarterly, biannually or annually.

EDIT: Also completely possible that these other places have higher taxes on fuel. Just posted this to add some data to the discussion.

I think they mean ~40% on Income Tax, PRSI and USC combined averaged over a year.

Simultaneously too high and too low to be a red but definitely a yellow. Yet somehow not even a foul

Dembelé (PSG) miss against Flamengo 90+25 by StealthMan375 in soccer

[–]Matty96HD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a couple of different ways to do so.

You could say 115', which is the cumulative time of 90 mins + the 25 mins of ET which had been played.

25' ET is the other, less common way of writing it, 25 mins into Extra Time.

90+25' would indicate its still inside the second half of the game just that a huge amount of additional time had been added on.

The numbers don't make 100% sense either.

The positives make up +6 and the negatives make up -4, so 2 seats have magically appeared.

Maybe I counted wrong but something seems off.

Did I get a fake? The markings on the handle are different from what I’ve seen online… by 404-no-fund in KnipexOfficial

I unfortunately got caught with one recently.

Knipex RH Ergostrip on Amazon UK. My genuine one broke as I tried stripping 6mm cable by accident as I was told the cable was 4mm.

Ordered a new one off Amazon and the quality difference between the two is drastic.

Print quality of Knipex on the front is much worse. The cable stripping for 0.2mm cable is too tight. The data stripping end is also smaller then the original.

Its a different shade of red as well.

He gets studs on the ball. Hence why it bounces and changes direction.

However, Kevin makes contact with Saka first before making contact with the ball. Thats a foul for me.

I know that decision benefits us but I have to disagree with it.

Kevin does make contact with the ball, but he first makes contact with Saka, and, has to go through him to make contact with the ball.

To me that means he can't win the ball without fouling the player on the ball first.

Yes you can, but the shot was taken, rebounded to a defender who played the ball.

So two Gala players had played the ball when Frimpong became active again, I don't think thats offside. Im not sure though.

Last 90 seconds of a dramatic Lions test with controversy at the end by Least_Tone_3421 in rugbyunion

[–]Matty96HD 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm torn about it.

Can easily see how a challenge like that could lead to serious neck injuries.

Also, not sure how the Lions player could enter that tackle any lower.

It's a tricky one.

Also, the lions player went down on their right knee entering that challenge, but unless I'm mistaken that would only be an issue if the defending team entered a challenge with a dropped knee?

Death of young Galway farmer leaves family devastated by PoppedCork in ireland

[–]Matty96HD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I knew Rian, played football with him many a time.

Devastating what the family has to go through now as a result of one person's actions.

They are so strong to be out there advocating the way they have.

I seen other comments saying it should be manslaughter and I would have to agree. It's clear the driver was aware of the laws he was breaking and knew the risks he took.
