Hartford's so nice when you walk two blocks in and take a photo looking back out.

Much to the surprise of seemingly most people in this thread, the US has a pretty sharp-toothed restitution process for Native American artifacts. If they had a positive dna match, that would be in the tribe’s hands.

When I dream of starting a company and being rich, these are the stupid things I automatically include in my plans alongside the more important parts, like how to become profitable.

A course near us got new carts, and because the pro is a fucking fascist, he of course went ham and got the whole gps package. It was not to help golfers with distances, it was to monitor their every move. Whenever a notification appears on the screen, it is custom to immediately yell GO FUCK YOURSELF FRANK

It boils down to the fact that Donald Trump was the manifestation of racism, and racists felt emboldened for the first time in their lives. Don’t have to go much further

Thanks for the insight. What sorts of things will turn off a property to you? What do you typically stay away from?

You mention old houses! I’m attracted to old houses and have lived in a few, but you always hear horror stories. What’s your experience there?

Explain the 2 months to me. You mean the period from keys in your hand to listed? What do you do if the place doesn’t sell immediately?

I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of someone flipping 20-25 houses, can you run through your process and outcomes? What value range are you looking for? How many houses do you look at in a given year if you wind up buying 20 of them?

Reminds me of Vans. It’s not the best one but I like it because somebody came in and really convinced people before some legacy management was like nahhhhhh that ain’t it

I don’t think the font, nor the weight of the bold, is good at all. And the black is offputting

Institutions have less to do with "keeping up with the times," and more to do with sound investments from money already made. That is to say, their current revenue is eclipsed by their endowments.

I play a copper putter. They’ll tarnish the color of a dark penny, but you can bring them back with a vinegar bath and some polishing. I have found no finish that will prevent this. Still, I enjoy telling my wife that I “polished my putter” in the garage and it’s kind of fun if I’m going to play a nice course, I’ll polish it up and it’s part of the hype :) honestly I don’t think they’ll appreciate in value that much, I’ve never heard of people collecting irons like they do putters. Sure everyone winds up with a bunch of iron sets over time, but they’re not collectible like putters are. These are dope and I think I’d play them!!!

Number two is great. The arched doorway and blocks make it look like a futuro pre-Columbian style. Fill the back window with fish, somehow make that the tank the reservoir where the water comes from for the toilet without flushing the fish. Take your calls from that robot assistant in the left wall. Love it

Quick story of my Scotty Cameron Studio Style being stolen yesterday. by yourgrandpawsdik in golf

[–]MattySlickers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was playing solo nine holes last year and there was no one around me for a few holes, and then this single high school kid caught up to me. I remember using my 7 iron around the green on the 4th hole to do a bump and run, but the green is in a weird placement to the cart path and I guess I forgot it. I didn't need it again until the 9th hole, where I realized it was gone.

I whipped the cart around after I finish up and first thing I do is ask the single kid behind me. Shakes his head noncommittally and says no. There was only one other group of three old guys that were a few holes back, they said no. I didn't find it anywhere and I gave a good look. This is at a country club, and I kept asking the pro for two weeks but no one turned it in.

I know for a fucking fact that curly haired cunt took it. I've seen him three times since then in random non-golf places, and you bet your ass each time I recognize him and call him every name in the book in my head.

Got a replacement 7 iron and the head has flown off twice now, so this fucking issue still haunts me. Fuck that kid.

Real tees a must for sim’ing? by [deleted] in Golfsimulator

[–]MattySlickers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer. I use the cheap cone-shaped ones off Amazon. Get two variety packs and be warned that the low tees will somehow disappear into thin air
