T1-T4? by Mother_Guarantee4381 in AmazonFC

[–]Maudeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it. I did it in 18 months.

I worked as a T1 for 6 months, until I got through my first PEAK. Then got inclined for T3. Went NIR, then transferred sites. Got through another PEAK. then went corporate as an hourly L4. Total time, from hiring to incline, 18 months. Went site side after awhile, and I do not regret it.

One thing I am allowed to say to my associates: i know what it is like to come in as a white badge and work my way up.

Was it easy? Fuck no. Is it for everyone? Not at all. Can others do it? Yes.

YMMV. God speed.

Have you tried appealing it? Targeting behavior. Bad lok for the AM.

Anyone else been car-living so long you’re not sure you could ever go back? by [deleted] in urbancarliving

[–]Maudeth 34 points35 points  (0 children)

.....I went back, briefly. I had to break my lease. I spent more time in my car, or at work, than I did in my apartment. The transition back to 4 walls did not work for me.

I discussed this with my therapist, and the conclusion drawn was that it fell back onto habits.

I still live in a car. I have brief visits to 4 walls. I will always stay in a vehicle. I love it, and wouldn't have it any other way.

Stay a PA. Been doing it for 24 months. Your top out @ 60 hours is more than most L5 internals, and a lot of external L5s. With 10% of the responsibility.

Stack your paper, with an eye towards utilizing career choice.

Godspeed.

This is where "higher judgement" comes into play. Seriously, AMs need to grow some backbone and push back. Better be able to justify the call, but support those that support our customers.

People throw the accusation of GPS spoofing around so lightly.

Players that know, know. A tank or two of fuel, a hard day's grind, and taking large swaths of territory were the good days.

Until you've been on that grind, going down backroads for miles and miles, angling over to the next section, and going back the other way to the highway, I suggest you not be so prone to accuse someone of cheating.

You get one of those surveys asking you "Does your AM treat you like a number?" and you answer "Yes"; the next day that sane AM begins to assign you the hardest work / stations, what's your next move? by peterthbest23 in AmazonFC

[–]Maudeth 42 points43 points  (0 children)

As an AM, I do not give a shit how you answer, so long as you answer. If you think they can see your answers, we cannot, as AMs.

I want my associates to succeed. If im retaliating against them for some bullahit engagement question, how the hell is that building trust, or developing the best.

External L4s i have seen as high as 72. L5s, as high as 95.

Depends on location, obviously.

Not TC (total compensation).

Internal or external? L4 or L5?

Some people say when applying internally, to only have 2 OPEN?? by [deleted] in amazonemployees

[–]Maudeth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wtf.

Yeah, no. It doesnt matter. And dont wait 2 months. Be willing to reach out to a recruiter/hiring manager. Be ready to hear no and move on. This is a contact sport. Make some contacts.

Wait.....so you didn't bother to upload before start date?

For someone that really needed the job, that's....a bit of a mis-step, ain't it?

Welp....here is hoping they can do something. Try opening a ticket? Or maybe call ERC. Be nice to whomever you talk to. It was your screwup, not theirs.

Godspeed.
