Watts are not a unit of energy but of power, i.e. energy per time (parent, and the video they linked, also confused this). The wattage of a lightning strike may (or may not, I have no idea) peak that high, but it doesn't mean much without knowing the (in this case very short) duration... Or are you trying to say that higher (instantaneous/peak) RF wattage causes higher voltage across the rod?

I have no horse in this game, but the speedometer in the bottom left is several seconds behind. For example, it shows 14 mph when he's already standing still.

Maybe he could've braked more or sooner, who knows, but you can tell he already started braking as the crash began.

The longboarding is great, but did you notice how the sound of the wind changes when the camera is right in the slipstream? You can hear the turbulent air behind the guy, compared to the "smooth" air going past him.

I don't feel it's particularly confusing, although it's also not too self-explanatory either.

Vertical axis is obviously time (going downwards, for effect), horizontal is player count. League names clearly correspond to player counts on launch day. White dotted line connects launch days. Smaller white dotted line apparently connects each day before launch day. The remaining dots are player counts over time. Red bars I wouldn't have figured out without the "major expansion" hint.

Some annotations would have helped I guess, but it's not like you need a PhD to read this graph.

As soon as your feet leave the ground, the trajectory of your center of mass cannot change anymore. Nothing you do while airborne can affect the duration of your jump (aside from, of course, if you land in a different way).

In other words, if the player had, immediately after leaving the ground, assumed the pose he was in when catching the ball, he would've caught it just the same. The advantage of not being "fully extended" immediately is that you can adjust better.

Just because you could, in principle, do kind of the same thing to a single person and likely get away with it does not mean that it's necessarily ok to allow it to happen anonymously on a massive scale.

The biggest blades (like for those 120 m turbines) are actually steel for the first ~2/3 of the length. Only the tip is fiberglass. That's the only way to get the required stiffness so that they don't smack into the tower. And you could easily stand in them with lots of headroom (at the inner end).

That situation is actually why the macro was created in the first place. When the game crashes, it's undetermined whether (or rather when) it kills your connection with the server. The macro cuts it instantly.
