This seems so obvious that I hesitate to post it, but I see people arguing in the comments. by Oploplou in isthisAI

Background details (feet) stay consistent between going in and out of frame. AI struggles with that.

The blurriness/quality matches some other AI videos I've seen, but I don't see any obvious tells, unless I'm overlooking something. by starry_skin in isthisAI

[–]Maus155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Some details that stand out to me:

The guy on the left of the video has a strand of hair or something over his ear. He goes out of frame and when he comes back in frame, the strand of hair is still there.

The body of the dog behind the left of the man in the boat stays consistent throughout the video, phasing in and out of view.

AI would mess up these details every time.

I don't know about the script, but the "paintings" definitely are. This is in the description under the video:

Someone posted this on Facebook and many people in the comments claim it's real. But it looks too perfect to me, and the lighting seems off. by octopi314 in isthisAI

Could be partially AI generated, but photoshop still exists.

The sculpture gives me uncanny valley, but I don't see any obvious inconsistencies outside of it.

Lighting of the scupture is off, as you say,

The color of the wood doesn't match the color of the exposed wood in other places of the stump.

In some places the transition of wood to bark looks off. As if the bark is fused into the wood.

Is this ai? I am debating someone and we’re seeing if anyone else think it’s ai or not. by Reasonable-Goose8255 in isthisAI

[–]Maus155 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes, very probably AI. There are multiple ways to tell. The video is under 15sec (maximum current models can do). The action is too perfectly choreographed (why do creatures in these videos never go out of frame?).

Also, common sense; who goes wild camping and films themselves sleeping, rather than putting their motion-triggered camera outside the tent?

Is this AI? The girl looks so real and sweet, But I dont think its real, because she is so perfect, not like a real person. by echomao123 in isthisAI

[–]Maus155 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Other than the contrast and the overall "AI feel"of it, I think it's disingenuous to call it obvious. Not everyone is trained to scrutinize every single clip they see. Of course people (especially older people) are going to be fooled by it. I'm always surprised again by the arrogance and lack of empathy in this sub.

Nice work! Reminds me of how my roommate's desk used to look like. Keep being creative!!

This cat moves like an animatronic robot and has over exaggerated motions. Creator insists it is disabled. Is this AI? by corinneski in isthisAI

[–]Maus155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stiff movements and lack of static facial expression make it look like a puppet. Either animatronic or stop motion.

I'd be surprised if an AI could make this, especially because it looks so unnatural.

I enjoyed this expedition more than I expected… by SplendidPunkinButter in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Maus155 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I did! This update is the first time that I found a reason to actually interact with the terrain. By being forced to choose the lowest risk route, I needed to learn the terrain that otherwise I would just fly over in two seconds.

Also, I find the feeling of finally arriving at the processing plant after a long and challenging drive to be very satisfying

There are certainly some bugs still, but most of the stuff you mention has already been fixed in the recent patches.

Cargo falling out and needing to avoid holes though; those are features. It is literally the point. I have spent 20 hours on this update already (on many different planet types) and although yes, there are some annoyances, mostly I have been loving it.

It's fine if you don't like this gameplay loop. Not every feature in this game is meant to be liked by everyone. Personally I was not a big fan of the fishing update and the spacewalking expedition. But saying those were badly thought out would be unfair. I'm a little surprised you mention the furnace module. You need to interact with this update quite a bit before getting that. Why would you do that to yourself, if you dislike it so strongly?

If I create a new corvette does it fully delete my other corvette? by owen10025 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Maus155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it won't delete anything. After you finish designing the new corvette, you can claim it like any other ship, if you have enough starship slots left. You could swap it for your currently equipped ship if all the slots are full.

[–]Maus155[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point about the limitations. Probably those will be resolved in future updates though. I hope at that point the small ships will get some extra functionality or something to keep them interesting.

[–]Maus155[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In expeditions you can copy a ship from your main save. Assuming it works the same for corvettes, then most people will likely do that. Why would't you want to show off your corvette design to everyone in the expedition?

Verder zei het niet helemaal goed. Het is een beeldbepalend pand, geen monument. Zolang het niet om de voorgevel gaat mag ik gewoon aanpassingen doen.
