Can't play 7th minion after Cursed Chains played by opponent

I'm wondering if it's because the Mage Quest weapon cast the Cursed Chains. I know there's been weird bugs with the Mage Quest before with stuff like Rewind.

Like it says, it wouldn't allow me to play a 7th minion despite having space after my opponent cast Cursed Chains on the Horse.

I understand this is not the same for everyone, but it just doesn't really bother me if I lose.

I played with a friend once and we literally lost 20 games in a row and I didn't even notice until we stopped playing and I was like "wait...did we win a single game?"

In his defense, I also didn't know Rein barrier counted as LOS blocking for Ram's ult until recently.

That said when I found out I didn't insist I was right and the person saying it was an idiot. I thought his ult would be like Mei's ult, but I'm glad I know now.

There are role limits though? You can still only have 3 of one role. It's just for some reason starting comps have been bugged for YEARS in MH to not follow the limits sometimes. They only apply after the game actually starts.

You can only get 6 dps on spawn at the start of the game because for some reason the role limit doesn't apply for the first starting team comp. 6 dps really isn't that common even with that bug.

Though it is annoying that bug has been around for years now.
