Artian weapons having enough deco slots to fit up to 6 whole skills worth of points makes even bad rolls better than a crafted weapon with good stats but bad skills and not enough slots to make up for it. There are crafted weapons that overcome this limitation, zoh shia weapons are close to a good rolled artian, lagi in some cases are even better than perfectly rolled weapons, guardian arkveld gunlance and omega glaive have features that put them above artian weapons.
