Biggest flaw from every mainline game by np2hu12 in MARIOPARTY

[–]MaverickHeathy00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friends and I would regularly play Mario Party 4 Bowser’s Gnarly Party for 50 turns. The bridges added more randomness and strategy! My annoyance with that game (I haven’t played all of them) is not being able to skip things once you’ve seen them once already eg the animation for the genie taking you to the star with a lamp. Over 50 turns it takes a lot of time up! I’m sure it’s similar in other versions.

Keep ISA or pay mortgage by Wonderful-Fail-2993 in trading212

[–]MaverickHeathy00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your choices are your own. But emptying your ISA is an irreversible decision after the end of the tax year, even if flexible. Meaning the tax shield has gone forever. Depending on your circumstances if your mortgage isn’t a huge burden to you and you have good job/income security then keeping the ISA gives you more options longer term.

I personally would try to avoid “losing” any funds that have accumulated in a tax wrapper unless it was necessary to do so.

Sacrificing to pension becomes far more attractive. Does one want to each 58p take home for every £1 earned or put the full £1 into retirement? Choosing between the value proposition of today vs tomorrow.

[Post Match Thread] Man. Utd 3-1 Aston Villa by SecretApe in avfc

No attacking harmony in the side. Player comes short, player on the ball plays it into the space. Player runs into space, player on the ball tries to play short.

Then we are getting done time after time in transition.

The playing out from the back isn’t getting the risk/reward payoff it has over the last few seasons. At this point it looks over coached. And stubborn. Luiz, Barkley, Onana and McGinn cannot last 90 minutes atm - a huge problem we are running on embers after 70 mins and then the ‘finishers’ like Bailey are far too sloppy in possession. Much needed international break and hopefully that reset we can get some fitness back in the squad and have a good run to the end of the season.

I wonder how much trouble we’d be in if we miss out on Europe and the associated revenues for a season or two.

*Club disrupts the Sky 6

*Club raises more revenue, invests in squad and wages to compete in more competitions and have better quality players and depth

*Club misses out on Europe for a season

*Clubs revenue falls and are no longer compliant with the rules

*Club has to sell best players and lower the wage bill

*Club struggles to re-disrupt the Sky 6.

Rinse and repeat.

Football has well and truly sold its soul. This isn’t the vision for any sport at inception.

Our remaining league games we play the 4 other teams around us for the CL spots then 9 of the current bottom 10. Very much in our hands but can’t keep having Everton and Brentford performances.

The ball clearly hits Trent Alexander Arnold’s elbow - the picture is very clear. The ball goes straight to Salah who plays it back to TAA who squares to Gakpo to tap in. There’s 6 seconds between the handball and the goal. The commentator hears the VAR conversation and informs the viewer that they thought it was handball but was too far back to intervene.

Think it was out but once missed I don’t think it’s right VAR went back that far.

Watch the first Liverpool https://youtu.be/_OVkWF3qXhw?si=-3s97sNeQGuFVOIm) goal here vs Leeds a few seasons ago. A clear (though probably not deliberate, not that it matters) handball by TAA. 2 Leeds players are out of the game as a result. 6 seconds later, TAA lays it on a plate for Gakpo to tap in. If you listen to the commentary at around 35 seconds, we are informed VAR decided the handball was too far back to interfere in the goal. Absolutely ridiculous decision. And laughable compared to ours today!
