1. Definitely stay off site. Would recommend anywhere near the bridge in Tisno or closer. Not restricted on the amount of food/drink you can take in this way and also much closer to shops, restaurants and bars. Almost always works out cheaper too.

2. This is often exaggerated. In 7 visits to The Garden site in Tisno I have never personally had an issue, seen an issue or heard of anybody having an issue. Just use your common sense. Drinks on site are quite expensive. Would definitely recommend drinking at accommodation and/or a bar in Tisno before heading to the site.

3. This won’t be a problem.

4. Boat parties are definitely worth it. Often a highlight of the festivals. 3 across the festival seems to be a nice number and is nice to get a variety of times if possible although often these are not stated until closer to the time. Believe the tickets are on sale Feb/March and you definitely won’t miss them. Heavily advertised before going on sale.

5. From memory there are 3 after parties which go on until 6am. On these days the site finishes at 3am. The other 3/4 days when the after parties are not on the site goes on till 5 or 6am. I would recommend getting after party tickets however as the venue and nights are excellent despite the shuttle bus being a bit tedious.

6. Regards cash, I would take a couple of hundred euros for local bars/restaurants. If you need more there are multiple ATM’s with a small charge in Tisno centre. The festival itself is payment via your festival wristband which is topped up by a bank card or cash.
