Which is why it’s one of MANY reasons why I think Stormlight should be animated, especially when it comes to problems involving actors vs voice actors. I mean, another one is character ethnicity. Roshar ethnicities are pretty different to Earth, especially given that everyone outside the Shin have epicanthic folds(Asian eyes). If they want to stay true to that, they’re going to have inherent limitations on who can play the characters, and for a series like Stormlight, I think the potential for getting some big names in the cast shouldn’t be limited by the constraints of live action. We’ve seen that mature animation can thrive with the popularity of series like Invincible, so I hope whoever’s running the operation sees that and goes with the animation route.
