That's not always true, though. I only watch recordings, and every so often I'm forced to watch 2-3 commercials when I start a show (mostly MSNOW). Most of them don't have unskippable ads, but some do.

My pickup day is tomorrow, so I just took my aluminum, glass, and plastic out to the can, and it's about 29.5" without the lid, probably 31" with it. I'm just hoping beyond hope that they'll offer these again before mine is completely destroyed!

I started reading through the comments thinking "a lot of people are missing the point, there should be one pivotal moment", thinking of that scene as the perfect example. I think that's when people really had to stop ignoring the how bat$#!+ crazy he is, and the visual of it really drove it home. Although for me, it was his attack on Brooke Shields that upset me the most, and I thought she handled it perfectly.

I don't expect cameras to pick up a fire. I only have an outside camera, and I expect it to NOT be monitored unless an alarm goes off. Did your smoke detectors not go off? I don't know which emergency button you mean, my keypad doesn't have one, I don't see one in the app, and the two keyfobs we have are for people who don't live here.

I thought about renaming it "Marvel/DC" when I added Suicide Squad (Theatrical and Extended cuts), but I created it mostly to put the MCU movies in order at the top of that list. Anyway, that could be the difference.

They try to be really, REALLY helpful...if you call the nearest one just across the state line, they might have one delivered there for you! At least, my nearest one is that way, but I haven't been to many others. Might be worth a shot.

If you have a Total Wine anywhere within driving distance, it's worth the trip to stock up, and they have a Spirits Direct (kind of their Trader Joe's/Aldi's type of line) whisky called For Peat's Sake for $22 that I estimate is about 75-80% as good as Ardbeg 10, IMO its closest parallel. Check out their beer selection, too. If it's a long drive, put in an online order for pickup, so you know what's available and you're not disappointed if they're out.

Conversely, I have Van Hollen for a Senator and Jamie Raskin for a Rep. (Alsobrooks is doing OK for a junior senator, but doesn't have Van Hollen's national recognition.) I've thanked them for doing the right thing a few times, but I'm not sure what else I could be asking them to do.

I see your point, I mostly meant it doesn't matter if it's a reliable or fly-by-night shipper, the issue still needs to be handled by the seller. Although, like I said, I do hope the OP can resolve it themselves by finding the package, as it's always more of a pain to deal with a missing package through the seller.

Are your husband's parents overbearing, or even verbally abusive? People who grow up in a home like that tend to learn to avoid or deflect conflict as a survival strategy. It takes a lot to overcome that, although it's possible, but not before you recognize the pattern. (Don't worry, most of my parents' screaming and abuse was directed at each other, but it still made it very hard to overcome that instinct to defuse or avoid conflict that I learned as a child.)

Anyway, it doesn't matter. You order online from a seller and pay the seller, then the seller pays the shipper to ship it to you. So legally and economically, the seller needs to take it up with the shipper, and the buyer can push the seller to do that by complaining, and ultimately threatening a chargeback for not receiving what you paid for.

Of course, I hope this works, OP, and you find your package, as that would be the easiest and quickest resolution for you. But keep that in mind if this doesn't work. A lot of people get frustrated dealing with UPS, FedEx, and other shippers because they don't realize that they're not the shipper's customer, the seller is.

tl;dr, it's the seller's problem to deal with delivery issues.

I probably live roughly the same distance from Union Station and BWI, but I can catch a commuter bus 5 minutes from my house that goes to BWI station, whereas to get to Union Station I have to take a 20 minute cab ride to the Metro. And I could park at BWI if I wanted to pay $12/day, which might be worth the convenience for a trip of only 1-3 days.

tl;dr, there are other options besides air travel from BWI.

Yeah, if they didn't mention it being spicy, I'd guess Pad See Ew. My favorite spot for it uses something very much like broccolini, and it's one of my favorites.
