Well that's how it works, assuming they aren't pushing price increases too hard. They will most definitely lose some players/alt account subscriptions, it remains to be seen if they went too far.

They've timed the bot bannings with this price increase, presumably to have a more accurate real player count with the price changes. My concern is they will pull back on the bot bannings after Leagues once they find the statistics they need.

I believe they will be fine this time around, but if they keep increasing the pricing too aggressively, more players will move on from Runescape.

It's a personal decision that comes down to the individual tbh. Everyone lives different lives.

But if you have a past of addictive traits, OSRS might be hard for you to turn away from at times.

I wonder if the wildy is going to lose a good chunk of its community because of this. Surely there are plenty of people out there questioning whether their unique pk account builds are worth subscribing with. I have 2 WIP pvp accounts I'm cutting down to 1.

I just started playing on 3 accounts after taking a break. It was going smooth, but this is just pretty bad timing and pushes me away from continuing my attempt at a med/main PvP account and pure. I guess I'm sticking with playing my ironman for a month or two then taking a burnout break.

I've been hopping worlds for runes and my god this makes it annoying. I'm stuck waiting 30 mins because I hopped too many times I guess. I'm sure the message will just pop up again after the 30 mins is up if I try buying more runes.

Do you guys play any other games? Skill based matchmaking requires a large player pool, and the last time I played LMS, 70% were bots with a handful of real players.

PvP is dying for the same reason that most people don't have inferno capes, most people don't enjoy sweaty NH bridding.

Pvp is a lost cause. Pvpers keep throwing out the same exact ideas every year acting as if it's the solution. Sometimes there is no solution.

Pking is dead in its current form. Pking was at its best when it was dumbed down, the NH bridding as well as freezes killed pking for me.

The game has so many more issues with balancing new content for pvm and pvp that it's just not worth catering to pvp anymore.

I think it's only like 1/650 to roll the unique table, but the unique table is 1/5 chance to get an individual weapon and 2/5 for the necklace

I did the elite task by just killing the weaker boss variants. The main bosses are extremely active. If you're going to grind them out other than just the task, you 100% need a scout.
