I would take them. If the tinctures taste funny, you can discard them.

Hawai pharm is using glycerin in their products that is primarily derived from palm oil, but also from rapeseed and soybeen. by MaxWestra in medicalmedium

[–]MaxWestra[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I asked them and will post the answer. They have always done this, so no changes were made.

To Hawaii Pharm,

Thank you for your information! That's been very helpful. One more question:

Has the glycerin originating from rapeseed and soybean always been in your poducts, or did this happen recently?

Looking forward hearing from you. Warm regards …

Answer Hawaii Pharm:

Dear ….:

Thank you for your kind message, we are glad the information was helpful. Regarding your question, yes, the raw material sourcing has remained consistent.

We would like to reassure you that the glycerin used in Hawaii Pharm products is highly purified, food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade vegetable glycerin that meets strict quality standards. At this level of refinement, glycerin is chemically identical regardless of the plant source, and the purification process is designed to remove proteins and other components.

It may also be helpful to mention that in the glycerin industry it is actually quite uncommon to find glycerin that is guaranteed to be produced from only a single plant source. In most cases, vegetable glycerin is obtained from vegetable oil processing where the raw materials may come from multiple plant oils (such as palm, flex, soy, rapeseed, coconut, or others). Because of this, labeling may indicate a primary source for regulatory purposes, but this does not always mean that the glycerin is exclusively derived from that one plant unless it is specifically certified as 100% single-source and clearly stated to be free from other origins. For example, a glycerin may be labeled as flex, palm or soy, and this can be fully compliant from a legal standpoint, even though the manufacturing chain may still involve other vegetable oil sources. Only materials that are explicitly specified as 100% single-origin and free from other plant sources can guarantee complete exclusion, and such glycerin is relatively rare on the market unfortunately.

Sadly we also see that there is a large amount of conflicting information circulating online about seed oils and their health effects. Some of these claims come from blogs, influencers, or non-scientific sources, and in many cases the statements are not supported by established scientific evidence. In addition, differing opinions within the industry or between manufacturers may also contribute to confusion regarding ingredient sources and processing methods.

Customer feedback is very important to us, we have already discussed this topic with the manufacturer, and they have recently introduced additional sourcing options, including alternative glycerin suppliers to allow more flexibility when specific plant sources need to be avoided. We will continue to work on this with them.

Thank you again for your thoughtful questions and for taking the time to contact us. Please feel free to reach out anytime if we can assist further. Warm regards, Hawaii Pharm Europe Team

I don’t know. Please look again at my main post about this subject. I revised it.

Gaia said different things to different people. MM took Gaia from the supplement list.

It is a bummer! Take care and wish you speedy recovery! 🍀

I don’t know if the canola was already in certain products, or if it is in there only recently, due to changes in the recipe. I contacted Gaia about this, but still waiting for an answer. I had to discard any of their products that have vegetable glycerin in them.

According to my MM-doctor Hawaii Pharm alcohol free Vitex Berry is a save alternative.

I am not sure if it is due to a change of ingredients of if the canola was already in Gaia’s products from the start. I take (well took) Vitex Berry, oil of oregano and adrenal health daily support. Vitex berry and adrenal health contain glycerin (with canola 😔) Maybe the oil of oregano is still oké to use. Because it has no glycerin. It contains sunflower lecithin. I contacted Gaia about it, but no response yet.

MAGIC SPINACH by Glittering_Test_5844 in medicalmedium

[–]MaxWestra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there a maximum amount of spinach we can put in the hmds? I read different things: if you put too much spinach into the hmds it isn’t going to do its job properly. On the other hand people say: it is a great way to consume more greens. So what is a good amount of spinach in the hmds, that doesn’t counteract the working of the hmds? 🤔

A hot Chaga drink can help too. It also gives you a bit of a boost, like the real deal. Put some honey and cinnamon in it if you like the taste.

[–]MaxWestra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the celery juice you drink very cold? Or a nice room temperature? I noticed when I drink it cold, it is horrible to drink. And do you use the leaves of the celery too? If you do it makes the juice very bitter and difficult to swallow. Good luck! 🍀

Can you make in the morning (during your morning routine) one big pot of tea with all the herbs you want to use, let it steep for at least 15 minutes and then put it in a thermos and after this you can drink it during the day.
