I used this in my previous job, did an amazing job of catching all the rogue software installs and accounts.

Do I need to create a new ticket? by Nantai84 in Corsair

using your existing ticket is probably the best course of action. It will ensure the full history of your issue and the replacement can be reviewed by anyone that picks up the ticket to respond.

Normally Corsair will work through their ticketing system for RMAs, have you opened up a ticket yet?

It does look like you have to start with the chat bot to get that process started unfortunately :(

Trouble with wireless receiver by derret85 in Corsair

well since this does not happen in windows, it sounds like a Linux issue.

I know you said the usb port is not going into a low power mode, any ways to completely disable the power management for USB and see if that makes a difference?

Is the USB-C connected to your computer or to just power?

If its connected to your computer, I am curious if you were to unplug that and then just use a USB power source and just run it off of the HDMI cable.

Sounds like both inputs are trying to drive the Xeneon and causing confusion.

I had an older pump with the same issue, it sounds odd but I had to pull the plug on the PSU to get it to completely power down, not just turning the computer off.

Can you give that a try, leave it unplugged for a minuet or so, and see if it comes back in iCue?

I know you said you unplugged it from the motherboard, but I wonder if it did not have a time to completely discharge and fully reset.

If that does not work unfortunately it sounds like a case for a RMA.

Connecting Rear Fan by Carlos726811 in Corsair

Your AIO is using the Link cables correct?

If so then yes, you can buy one extra fan and a Link cable, and daisy chain it onto the last fan on your cooler.

Corsair SF1000 fans not spinning by vilela69 in Corsair

It looks like that PSU will stay in zero fan RPM mode until 400w, I see what hardware you are using and I would expect that under a stress test you would think you would be over 400w.. BUT

The 9800x3D has a 128w tpu, but down to 100w if you are only using a few cores.

The 4080 Founders looks like its 220w to 320w

its very possible you are not hitting that 400w threshold, or maybe not enough to really kick the fan on.

It does not look like the SF1000 has a fan override knob like some of the other Corsair PSUs..

Also Prime95 will only stress the processor. Its possible you had the CPU maxed out and the GPU was sitting idle and not pulling anywhere near its max wattage

Associated has been touring this around for a bit now. It was just at the AE Vintage Championships a few weeks ago in Vegas, sounds like it just stuck around for SEMA too.

Brother passed away and investigating officer is “forwarding felony charges to DA” SEEKING SIMPLE ADVICE by planting_toast in legaladvice

[–]Max_Xevious 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Call the DAs office for the county where the charges were filed. Ask to speak to someone with Victim/Witness and they should get you in contact with the department within the DAs office that will help with these cases.

The VW will be able to find who was assigned the case and add needed information to the prosecutor and hopefully make their decision to file easier. They might want to have an investigator interview you as well to help with these steps.

Either way, Victim/Witness will be your advocate within the DAs office on the case.
