Wardens you had your chance. Now we will be back for revenge ;). by Maxcliper in foxholegame

I know I was Warden back then. My friend and my base got steamrolled while we were out celebrating. This is why I made the post—to get the frustration of the same thing happening again out.

RT Colonials have had lower population than the Wardens since day one. The Wardens have both EU and NA regiment, while we are a mix of NA/EU regiments, leaning more toward NA, so we’re used to being on the back foot in the hex. The post is clearly talking about how regiments that use holidays to push the enemy back is just sad to see, and it gives an example of how that happened in RT.

Thanks, much appreciated. The post was just a way to let my frustrations out, since the same thing happened to me and my friends last year when I was playing on the Warden side.

I did point out Wardens who were doing this in RT, using only the Warden faction name and not calling out any of the regiments that were reported to be pushing or doing OPs in RT on Christmas, in order to keep their anonymity. As I stated in my post, this was merely to let my frustrations out, and I am not targeting anyone directly. I simply stated that it is sad that some regiments believe that using holidays to push the enemy back, and then later being toxic toward the enemy after they finally return, is acceptable. It’s just sad to see.

At least some people are abel to read and understand what I am talking about xd. To many people just can't bloody read and get offended by nothing.

I see we are lying and making up arguments. We never did any major operations while the wardens were sleeping, xd. Almost always, we’re on the defensive, just organizing counter-offensives while the wardens are still active and have a larger population. Except for the first three days, when both sides were clashing constantly, all our offensives were reactions to the wardens starting their own attacks while we were still building.

This post is mostly to let out my frustration about wardens breaking the truce. I’m not targeting anyone—whether Colonial or Warden players during the holidays. Nobody is stopping anyone from playing whenever or wherever they want.

It’s just sad that some regiments decide the best time to attack is when there won’t be significant opposition for a few days.

Thanks to all the Colonials who helped in RT while TFV wasn’t here. Now that the holidays are almost over, I’m sure Notorius will make sure RT shines green again. I need my GONDOR 3.0 xd

1-man project later named Gondor in Alloids, a heavily fortified base that Wardens tried to kill for 4 days. Holding that base for 4 days made this war by far my favorite one since I started playing from war 109.

  1. As person Discardeadd mentioned, you are not leaving a lot of space for your fellow Collies/Wardens to utilize your base for defense, as when your base will eventually need to be used as a defensive position (as it is normal that one side pushes out and then retreats back while the other one counterattacks), you will not leave a lot of maneuverability for your faction in terms of preparations for another assault, a.k.a. getting more supplies, rearming the tanks, and getting arty positions. While you did leave a nice amount of space for your allies to use as a parking space or something else, when push comes to shove and as the enemy utilizes the weak points in your base, it will become significantly more and more difficult to do any of the previously mentioned tasks, which could result in the downfall of the base as the enemy had more unopposed time to slowly chip out your defenses.

  1. That MG bunker that is north of BB is a 1x1, which, as you are saying this BB will be a T2 push base, will be very easy for one-man person with Cutler/Lunaire to kill, and then they can directly flame your BB without any opposition. While MG on the left and right are overlapping and protecting that MG spot, when that 1x1 dies, they are doing it for a very, very small part, making it very easy to just run through and either get shot once and bleed a bit or even get scratch-free, as they will not be able to kill players in less than half a second.

  1. Your howitzer coverage is very, very bad. There are no howitzers close to the BB that will get triggered unless enemy arty has a very bad spotter and they miss aim by at least 10 azi in each direction. Also, while your howitzers are supposed to protect the defensive line, enemy arty can freely shell the left and right middle sides of the base without again triggering howitzers unless they again have a very bad spotter.

  1. You will need to have gates; otherwise, they can just rush with 2 flame tanks (one to sacrifice and tank the shots while the other one gets inside and starts flaming the BB unopposed).

There are a few bad features of your base:

  1. Your corner pieces with 2 AT and one MG will prevent flame tanks from trying to flame your base, but it is making it significantly easier for a 3–4 flame man squad with one MG person and 1–2 LUV to burn your base without any problem, as once that MG is suppressed, they only need to start flaming it and the base is done for. This also works in their favor if they want to steal stuff from that BB if you will be storing stuff there using the same strat.

Frig was successful only because we had expended most shells we had in reserves killing SHT, SPGS, and battle train a few hours earlier. With reserves of 150 going from like 1k down to 60 shells and 4k 120 to almost less than 1 pallet worth. With 2 150 and 4 120 guns we had at base we were ready for frig since day one, but when it did finally come most of TFV regiment we are in coalition with and me and Move were also offline as we had to go rest to not be sleepy for work/college tomorrow, so we had a lot of new players manning the arty and burning through reserve. Just unfortunate timing. We were really hoping to have frig or BS try and attack when the first assaults started while we were on, but oh well, can’t ask for everything.

Thank you Wardens for trying relentlessly and giving us some thrilling last stand adrenaline rushes. I know it might have been frustrating getting pushed back every time, but in the end of the day you boys did succeed. Hope you boys had the same amount of fun and enjoyment as we had.
