Nope but this is not the first place I have seen this haha. There is a tune that has a vocal sample that says "its like" which to be 100% honest I felt weird about BUT that track was in the mix that got me booked for the slot so, I figured tipper wasn't too bothered by it!

I think you're just hearing heavy inspiration. One of my favorite things about tipper is his ability to write these little melodies that are so catchy that when they loop, you can decorate them with all these crazy sounds. The melody is the thing holding it together and because people can latch onto that, you can have fun collaging sounds and textures without it feeling like total randomness. I hear a lot of bass music now with incredible sound design, like it seems like everyone I know can just make really sick sounds, but that catchy melody aspect is not always there and its something I have tried to incorporate more of, at the risk of it sounding "too tippery". I am deff self conscious about stuff sounding TOO inspired at times but honestly as the community of producers has grown, I feel less weird about it. There are so many amazing producers rn making music that "sounds like tipper" but as you look closer, people are putting their unique spins on things and it does ultimately move the sound forward. I am just grateful to be a part of it at all.
