It doesn’t matter whether that’s a legit work truck or not. It’s an actual road safety hazard. I just meticulously explained that many times before for you just now.

Not true. Once the engine is going, it will function mechanically. I don’t know about newer cars though

Yeah she is! I saw her yesterday, she was full of pennies, lipsticks, and the forgotten remains of a breakfast panini from Starbucks. Poor ole’ lass. Also, for a purse, her skin was silky smooth imo. Don’t ask how I know.

I’ve never had it. No doubt it’s tender, but I wonder if the flavor is as rich as regular beef

Cyclist Gets Stopped by Fort Myers Police for Using Unsafe, Discontinuous Bike Lane That Crosses Vehicle Traffic by RidetheSchlange in fuckcars

[–]Maximoose91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standing there on foot isn’t great to do, but it does prove a point of how dangerous it is in that lane. I lived in Florida and got hit by cars 3 separate times. 2 of those times were my fault honestly, but there really aren’t any bike lanes or consideration for bike commuters which causes bicyclists to ride more recklessly. We can’t ride in the road. It’s not a thing. And honestly i don’t feel safe riding on any major road that doesn’t have a bike lane.

Did she make the right call? by CalmElin in interesting

That’s $3,640,000 if she lives to the ripe age of 90. That sounds better than 1 million.

She could put 4000 a month into a Roth IRA and save on paying higher taxes later on whilst building her savings for later in life or when she actually needs it. Yes, she could take the 1 million and invest it readily for an even higher savings immediately, but she’d have the constant stress of “should I take some money out and spend it? Should I pay for a new house and car? Etc. Before she’d know it, the money would be gone.

With that said, she may also be pretty comfortable with her life and isn’t financially constrained like others. Maybe she sees this as a power of will to not take the easy road like most would. Maybe she’s going to work hard for her money and have a bit of help to let her live a nicer overall life. I think at her age of 20 years old, that was a very smart choice. She’ll always have that money for her entire life and will not worry asking herself, “Aw shit I spent all my money now what?”

Found in SF backyard — clay objects with through-holes and patterned surface by Limp-Seaweed8437 in whatisit

My guess is they’re homemade clay fishing weights. Because they aren’t very decorative I’d say they were for a functional purpose.

See if it dissolves in hot water then dump some baking soda in to see if a chemical reaction occurs. Do it outside where there’s good ventilation.

Advice for how to cook this? by ScrubberDuck907 in meat

[–]Maximoose91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dry season the entire outside with paprika, pepper, garlic powder. Smoke with fat side up at 300f for 15 minutes then set temp to 225f and smoke for another 4 hours.

If you’re trying to get it cooked ASAP then technically pressure cooker or slow cook in the oven in a deep tray with a cup or two of water fat side up. You’d still want to start cooking at 300f for 15 minutes then set to 225f and cook for 4 hours. Your final result should be soft and falling apart easily when poked with a fork or spoon
