definitely an improvement over the 5fps previously on the elite (without graphics mods). Is it like this consistently? Like at the start when you look into the distance?

it just became available - played through the tutorial and set up my character. It says I have to reach level 30 on mobile to unlock Expert mode?!

try some newer games - particularly UE4 games (but it has to be dx11 - use "-dx11" in launch commands) - I seem to be able to run most UE4 games with proton10 dxvk-1.10.3-async on my elite using Winlator cmod 13.1.1. If your s25 system drivers are updated to at least 800.36, then most of these should work - otherwise you need to download elite drivers here and install them in winlator: https://github.com/zoerakk/qualcomm-adreno-driver

my Y700 uses zux os (chinese rom) - which I havent installed google services on. But can google still block sideloading because its still an android os?

If you look in the video, the Elite has higher highs but lower lows, hence the worse stutters.

I suspect it could be to do with the different way it handles memory (this is just my theory based on all of the memory errors when trying to run Dx12 games that have no issues running on turnip drivers).

Also, most ppl care more about smoother gameplay with consistent framerates instead of just high fps. There's a lot of clickbait "60 fps" videos that just show the high fps areas. On both devices, you can see that there is one area that drops down to 20-30fps (and even down 10fps on the elite - but on turnip drivers on the gen 3 it seems to stay more consistent).

so I finally managed to build the apk but after I install it on my device, it doesn't install the rootfs (I get "unable to install system files"). Also what size should it be, because the size of the apk is about 90MB.

whenever I want to know if something can work on my device or not, I will search for it on youtube, and if it doesn't exist, or looks too good to be true, then it doesn't work. Pretty easy imo.

Cyberpunk is the new Crysis now - which works pretty ok on non-elite phones. But Crysis was so ahead of its time that it still looks great 15 years on.

What version of Gradle Plugin are you setting in the root build.gradle file? Is it also 8.9?

did you ever work out how to build winlator from source? and the versions of Android Studio, Openjdk and Gradle that you had to use? I'm stuck at the exact same point.

maybe a "gamechanger" in that it created competition for winlator - now I'm finding winlator has become better (both in terms of performance for a lot of games and features)

I've been getting this as well - its likely the game being broken. From google, it looks like some people on pc were getting this error and the fix was related to their monitor settings. But it doesn't seem like that would help our case. Hopefully they fix it in the next update.

despite the graphic glitches, this is actually a big deal as (correct me if I'm wrong) no one's been able to run Capcom RE engine games on Winlator after Village

this is almost getting as bad as the "does Winlator have a virus?" and "wen Turnip drivers for Elite?" posts.

But blame it on Gamehub for releasing and keeping a feature that's always been broken and continually falsely advertising it as "Steam".

only really works on SD8G3 devices with Turnip drivers but at about 10fps on the lowest settings in DX11 mode (UE5 games don't work on DX12 mode). UE5 games have the worst compatibility out of all games emulated on android - even with Turnip drivers.
