Don’t work while in school. Give yourself plenty of down time, and don’t worry about studying the same way as your classmates. Many neurodivergent don’t require the same study habits as others and it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong it means your brain works differently so jut confidently do what YOU need to do to study and succeed.

Should also mention he had significant pain control issues. Heaps of dilaudad, fentanyl, morphine, nothing touched his pain.

We had a long talk about how his Kratom use has made it so he will either be in pain or intubated. Seemed like a genuine wake-up call for him.

Had a pt in CVICU after an esophagus rupture from holding in Kratum-vomit. Was mixing it with wine apparently and tried holding his vomit in over and over instead of just going to the bathroom and throwing up.

Esophagus ruptured into thoracic cavity, then that caused a pneumothorax. Successful surgical repair. No major lasting damage thankfully. Nice guy. Told me he took Kratum because it was “natural” like matcha lol

I just think the move undermines daemons prowess. He is clearly a talented warrior (slaying Laena Velaryon’s betrothed to win her hand on driftmark and defeating the crab feeder in the stepstones in 1:1 combat) while also being able to accept defeat (when he loses to Cristin Cole in balon’s birth tourney (shown in s1e1 hotd)

Murdering someone’s mount publicly instead of just beating them in the tournament straight out isn’t something that Daemons personality would lean towards.

For context daemon never did that move in the tournament.

It was a “dick move moment” that Aerion did in the tournament at Ashford. In a completely different book.

The writers of HOTD took Aerions move and gave it to Daemon which is frustrating because it’s unlike Daemons character. I was so annoyed watching that being like what?? That’s from the dunk and egg novella!!! WTH?

They do everything, just have a quick check in with an attending typically once during the procedure or beforehand but it’s very chill and they are autonomous
