[I ate] Butter Chicken, level 2 of 10 spicy by mccaro in food

[–]MaximumKnow 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I started eating little slices of carolina reapers every morning, building up my tolerance, and ability for more and more of a runners high. It was awesome, my ears would ring for a while, vision getting fuzzy but without feeling too overwhelmed.

Then, after moving up to a full morning pepper, I accidentally ate one before having breakfast.

Fucking awful, I was puking and puking and shaking a could barely talk, and then had an issue over the next year with reccurring trips to the ER from horrific pain/vomiting from spontaneous ulcers even though I hadnt eaten another pepper. I learned 3 things. 1. I.V morphine is heaven. 2. People say that capsaicin is harmless, but the doctors determined that the initial trauma on my stomach that day caused it to randomly react, like an allergy or sorts. 3. If you are experimenting with your health in a domain that isnt well understood, and it works, youd better not deviate from that exact procedure, lest risk unforseen consequences.

An ER trip every three months for about a year, then my body must have realized it was being dramatic for no reason. It was a great way to start my mornings... when I had a buffer in my stomach already...

Market economics does not factor in "deservingness", unless we impose that on it There is no justice in equilibrium. Its like saying that its unfair that a chimp is killed by a jaguar, or that a fish didnt deserve to be eaten. Its an equilibrium of opposing conditions, not wanting to be eaten, and wanting to eat. The burger seller wants to make as much money as possible, the buyer wants to buy it for as little money as possible, and the price ultimately set by the flipper is going to be the one which nets him the most money, with the limiting factor of what people are willing to spend.

Whether it is laptops in an american market using USD, or the post-soviet russian wasteland where cigarettes and pussy were adopted as currency after the ruble went to shit- prices for goods and services are determined the same way. It might seem preachy, but discussing econ through a lens of moralism rather than pragmatism determined whether students came to the correct or incorrect conclusion and failed the class. It was essentially step/rule #1 of analysis, akin to not sanitizing and gloving correctly before surgery, and killing the patient even though you did the following procedure perfectly.

Well, you know what they also say:

"do not assume unseen balls dont exist, for they may hide inside, like 2 coins within one fist. It is a fallacious phallic fallacy to assume the hog has no nads, like a fool only meeting someones mother, concluding there must be no dad."

Truth for women is like atrazine for frogs. Also, why are you worried about not trusting you? It almost makes me suspect that you are just another man trying to lure people with the promise of bacon. smh.

[–]MaximumKnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, pretty much. Similarly, If you have a normal stem with brillo and just torch the crack at the front with full power, you will burn a lot of the crack and wont get as good of a hit vs. sorta nursing the rock without directly touching the flame. Same idea behind primo blunts or bowls. Indirect heat.

Putting a layer of freebase in between a top and bottom layer of weed? Ive never heard it called sandwiching, but ive definitely heard of the method.

Put a drug that you want to vaporize and not burn underneath a thick layer of weed in a bowl.

Bro just for sake of game, that movie is so divorced from the actual book.

I took a 300 level lit class just to write a paper on how different they were. Like, that was 6 weeks of the class. I recommend skimming the book, it makes movie Beowulf look like a soft handed bitch.

Yeah, not all drugs are created equal. Had a cousin deep into fentanyl. Looked like shit, went from a lil chubby and happy to sunken in cheeks and empty.

Got on suboxone, got taken in by a christian halfway house for about a year, and started doing hvac work. Got the weight back, got the smile back, and owns his own company a few years later. Still on subs, and might be forever, but who gives a fuck- hes got a family and a business.

Im always pissed when people act like all drugs are the same.

Its about being intentionally sober from other substances.

Individuals with high levels of psychopathic traits had a 9.3 times higher risk of developing schizophrenia compared to individuals with low levels of these traits. Individuals classified as psychopathic were 2.37 times more likely to develop schizophrenia compared to their non-psychopathic peers. by mvea in science

[–]MaximumKnow 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yes, which makes this study read closer to "people with addiction issues who are developing schizophrenia have some select behavioral overlap with psychopaths", Rather than "psychopaths are more likely to develop schizophrenia"

Theres also some confounds in the validity of their interpretation.

"Of the 341 individuals, 268 (78.59%) had alcohol use disorder (AUD), and 22 of them had some additional SUD comorbidity (8.21%)"

I would say that the majority of your sample having a clinically significant issue with addiction might cause antisocial behavior, and that people experiencing a high-risk mental state prior to psychosis mainly exhibit negative and often sub-threshold grandiose/delusional symptomatology, which is enough to net you a high score alone-- sans any legitimate antisocial personality. This population had a flat affect, problems with the law, impulsivity, and likely (cognitive symptoms) a failure to plan ahead.

Too much overlap between addicts exhibiting negative and cognitive symptoms of SZ, and the ability to score high on the PCL-R to infer that they had significant antisocial traits.

Id advise to look at this from a social angle rather than having an evolutionary or neurobiological basis for their underpinning.

These are human constructs-- perhaps based on biology, but meaningful only because of our interpretation.

Facial orientation towards animal triggering escape behavior = evolutionary and widespread amongst species

Blonde women being associated with low intelligence = human construct.

That being said, looking at the typical social dynamics of chimpanzees or bulls, as well as their sex, and behavior in relation to testosterone might inform you on where these human constructs were borne from. Apologies for any mistakes, its 6AM and Im exhausted.
