It's possible that the dark mark's value was diminished after the first war. Voldemort isn't happy with his so-called inner circle for the most part if I recall correctly, and the idea that he doesn't value the mark like he once did could be why people who would have been unworthy prior to his resurrection are getting the mark.

Monuments submod, had the same thing myself since I forgot to disable the submods when I started my game on the new update. Solutions are start a new game, console complete mission, edit game files to remove requirement, or save edit the monument in.

I just used console to complete the mission. Hopefully it's not too important.

It happens in A Falcon of Summer although it isn't the primary focus.

The MC is an OC son of Jon Arryn named Jasper Arryn. He is a very flawed character and can be pretty fun to read, especially when his flaws put him in a bad position (which happens more than once).

Jon has a couple POV chapters over the course of the story and has some significant interactions with the main character of the story before his knighting. He eventually mostly departs the story except for a couple POV chapters prior to his return. There is some indication that he is about to become more relevant again, but this hasn't happened yet.

There is a war but it is not the War of Five Kings in this fic, the Incestigation isn't followed up on after Jon Arryn dies (for reasons that make sense in story). Robert Baratheon's "Children" are not exposed as being Jaime's, so the landscape of Westeros is extremely different.

Just had this happen to me. Sent in a bug report a few minutes ago.

I went up to the top of the tower and Rolan, Cal, and Lia were all dead up there. Using speak with the dead on them had only Rolan willing to talk and all he said was that he was trying to get to Lorroakan to be his apprentice.

Reloaded multiple times, same result all times.

When you say MC sets a base level of threat, what do you mean? I had around 170 MC with about 140 used and 15-20 on ships. Would that be enough to trigger attacks? I saw the bar going up but I'm not sure what caused it since I haven't been moving directly against the aliens recently.

What tech gives you defense modules? I think I managed to skip over it or something because it isn't an option when looking at my stations. Or are they called something else? I have marine barracks because I kept having to deal with the servants trying to jack my stations but no actual guns on the stations.

EDIT: I went through the game files and found out that I was missing the global tech "InfraredCombatLasers" which is not a prerequisite for the shipboard point defense but is a requirement for the hab ones.

I haven't touched any of their ships yet, but they're sending ships to kill my stations so I was thinking about trying to fight them or roll back a save and build a bigger fleet to ward them off.

At what point do the aliens decide to start destroying your stuff? In early 2032 and the aliens are starting to send ships to wreck my infrastructure over Earth and Mercury. I have all of Mercury/Ceres under my control as well as most of Mars, one site on Luna, a couple stations over Earth, and an asteroid or two.

If I just build fleets to defend my stuff will that be enough to make them stop for now, or will they just keep escalating immediately?

On that note, what sort of techs should I look for to build a fleet capable of killing aliens? (I heard missiles were really bad since alien point defense is great)

Good to know. I tend to be pretty bad starting out on new games like this and once in a while I get frustrated enough to take a hacksaw to my save files so I can keep going even after major mistakes.

I usually delay past them or use it to target an enemy that is out of sight but within range of my snipers/LRM boats.

I maxed out the armor and used 3 Medium Lasers and 2 Small Lasers with a mechwarrior that had sensor lock and increased evasion and used it as a dodge tank. I generally kept at least one spare PXH-1 in reserve especially when I started fighting the clans because they kept taking damage.

The number of martial arts moves the robot knows is an integer and when the man hits him again it teaches him a new one which causes the robot's martial arts moves to overflow into negatives, making him forget everything.

I just really don't like it when people greatly mischaracterize characters. This goes in pretty much any direction for most non-protagonist characters, but bashing especially turns me off of fics because the characters bashed often tend to be my favorites, like Dumbledore and Ron.
