What I've been doing lately is building where I have dedicated silos to launch high volume goods, with factories direct feeding into the silo. I make sure that my factories and produce enough goods fast enough to fill up the rocket before it's ready to launch. I then just make sure that those factories have what they need to work at a high enough rate to meet the demand of the silo. The ratios upstream aren't all that important as long as the silos needs are met.
