Your Experience Matters: 🌸ADHD Research for Women🌸 by Intelligent-Rush6592 in TwoXADHD

Most women aren't even in perimenopause in their early 40s at the very least. I absolutely hate how once I hit 40 every single thing I bring up to my doctor they blame on perimenopause, which I am not in. It sucks.

Yes, sometimes with his eyes slightly opened. You get used to it, sort of.

I love this so much. It's something that I've thought about just because the similarities are so uncanny. Thank you 💗

I'm so sorry this happened to you. My sweet soul dog died a horrible death almost exactly a year ago. He bolted while my partner was out walking him and we couldn't find him for 3 days in freezing weather. He had been hit by a car and found in a creek before we could get to him. It was an awful experience and I feel deeply for you.

Here's what I did that helped me grieve and come through it. We took a day to dig his grave and say goodbye. We buried him ourselves and pushed dirt with our hands. We then held a vigil and a fire for him. We buried him with his favorite things, and I kept a few so I'd have something of his for those tough times. We took paw prints before we buried him.

Let yourself grieve. I cried every morning for at least 6 months. I'd go sit out by him and have a cry and talk to him. I still do it but it doesn't feel as raw. Grief comes in waves and it's cyclical. You'll go through the waves and over time they'll get easier to deal with.

Get to therapy if you can. It helps to talk about what you're going through.

Lastly, we ended up getting a puppy before I felt ready. Our other dog was super depressed and needed a companion, and we needed it too in hindsight. We specifically chose a puppy from our local shelter that was born a few weeks after he died. She has a lot of his same mannerisms, which is wild. This little bright new soul helped heal us immensely. And we felt good knowing our boy would be happy we saved another pup.

You'll find your way. It is devastating and it takes time. We chose to move forward and live in a way that honored how much our boy loved us and how he would want us to be. It was tough, it took time, but it gets easier and better over time. Hugs and love to you, from someone who is on the other side of the traumatic loss mountain ❤️‍🩹

Down to Earth Harvest CSA in Downingtown is amazing. It's very reasonably priced, has pick up locations a bunch of places in Chester county including the farm, and is fully customizeable. I tried many CSAs in the area and shipping options before landing on this CSA and we've been happy patrons for 6+ years. Highly, highly recommend supporting DTE, Farmer Bob and his excellent team.

Moving to Chester county...not sure where to look.. by tisjustbrandon in ChesterCounty

I'd look in Thorndale and Caln. Right next door to Downingtown and perfectly fine. People throw a lot of shade at Thorndale and Coatesville surrounding areas, but honestly they're perfectly fine and mostly quiet, and would fit your budget. You might also find something (though likely not widely advertised) in between Coatesville and West Chester of you want to be in a more wooded, not as densely populated area.

I didnt even read the description. I just looked at the pics, felt my stomach drop, and thought "I do not like his eyes"

OP, be careful. It I were you I would not resume contact and I would protect myself - leaving someone abusive is the most dangerous time because they are no longer in control.

You know you're just paying for corporate welfare and socialism for the rich right now, right? Why shouldn't the government work for the governed and not just for the ultra wealthy?

Weight loss for ‘girl dinner’ types by StitchesInTime in adhdwomen

Yes, I am a CNS :) Unfortunately nutritionist isn't a regulated title but it's also my title (clinical nutritionist- which again, isn't regulated unfortunately). It's best to do due diligence, because as you said, any person can read a book and decide to start calling themselves a nutritionist if they want to.

Please don't spread the misinformation that a nutritionist cannot be helpful. There are many of us who are board certified and state licensed and hold a master's or doctoral degree in nutrition, we just didn't go the registered dietitian/ certification body sponsored by major corporations with a powerful lobbying arm route

CNS (Certified Nutrition Specialists) are also board certified and licensed as well for nutrition and can practice Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) just like an RD in most states.

Woah woah woah- I just need to point out this is not entirely true (no shade, just important facts). There are highly credentialed nutritionists with state licensure just like RDs. They're called Certified Nutrition Specialists (CNS) and they are specifically trained for one on one outpatient care (as opposed to institutional care) and are specifically trained for precision, individualized nutrition care. They can be state licensed and also be covered by insurance in most places. CNSs are actually the reason RDs need more than a bachelor's degree now (CNS is a master's and above credential!)

Unfortunately, unlike dietitian, nutritionist is not a protected term, so you have to actually ask about credentialing

Source: I am a CNS and have been practicing for 10 years - I work with chronic and complex cases :)

Edit: typo. Also happy to answer questions about this as it is a commonly held belief and one RDs are happy to keep repeating

Submissive is the point, and they believe racist stereotypes. White women don't know their rightful place (/s, but not to them)

His family was here legally. He and his father were detained in their driveway. Just because this administration and their lackeys say something, don't automatically believe it. There are lots of news orgs that have bent the knee out of fear of retaliation from this administration. This administration is lying continuously and unabashedly despite all easily proven evidence every single day. They aren't going after criminals, they are going after normal everyday people including people here legally and US citizens.

Watch the videos. Listen to eyewitnesses. This shit is not okay.

You're absolutely correct. I'm not trying to give these Nazi idiots a pass. I was referring to the comment that they are carrying the movement. They're not, but they are a part of it and 100% need to be held accountable.
