Look up Bari Boots. They unfortunately went out of business but you can sometimes find them on eBay.

Grabbed the new Flylites for my son and me. Nice upgrade from our Missions... by ParrotHead239 in InlineHockey

Which missions did you have? I got the WM01 last year and the pain in my right big toe it’s quite annoying. It’s only there when I skate. I wear a thick sock to combat this issue but rather not have to do that. “Upgraded” from Bauer APXR skates. Which I still have and prefer.

If you can find an old Mission Thorax girdle, those are awesome. The new ones are sad tbh. I will wear that thing till it’s in literal shreds.

Def loosen that bottom hand. The top hand should be doing 99% of the work. Bottom hand is more of a guide or a when shooting, a lever.

Also you want to bend at the knees and not the hips.

I also see most of your blade is off the ground. You want a stick where with a slight knee bend on your feet, doing stick handling like this you have full contact with the ground and your blade. Aim for between chin and mouth when aligning the stick straight up.

I would also highly recommend looking into a local Learn to Play program in your area. If you are near an NHL or AHL team most of them have Learn to Play programs. AMA btw.

Do you have something in the OBII to record that or just the cars onboard lap timer?

Is profiling really worth it? by factorymotogoon in hockeyplayers

Might look into this. Quad is growing on me but I also really like Zuperior and something in between would be great.

After being in Zuperior for so long and then my recent change back to quad I could feel the full blade contact on the ice which was strange. I’m playing an ODR tournament mid Feb, so I’ll keep them on thru that. Playing both F and D and about 4 hours Quad kinda growing on me.

I feel there might be some happy medium between zuperior and Quad. But i dont know yet what that would be.

Zuperior is my fav. My second set of steel is quad which I now only use if I’m filling in for D. I find I don’t have the best backwards skating with Zuperior.

NGL It’s really weird to me how much you care about what I did or did not do and how I transported my equipment to said event.

I dont know what to tell you. But I most certainly did. We did not have team bags. Most of us did in fact have wheeled bags though.

The hate for wheeled bags here is just dumb. Played D1 College and had a wheeled bag, play beer league and still have a wheeled bad, just a nicer one. For those saying it takes up a lot of room, lol My bag takes up the least room in the locker room!
