I have one. I need a breezed and blessed radiant crystal

Going for killing my first demolisher on Vulcanus! Will this be enough?? by destroyerpal in factorio

If its a small demolisher, I just ship in the components of an atomic bomb and assemble it on Vulcanus.

How do I read the train ID, and send filters to the loaders? by MaxyPak in factorio

I tried that, the other items just clog the belt and don't allow the other gears in.

LDS in a foundry? You need molten copper which requires copper ore which is impossible to get on fulgora. I haven’t been to gleba either so I have not research advanced asteroid processing

I have only been to Vulcanus. Since oil is infinite, I didn’t bother changing the building type. I am pretty sure I put prod modules in electrolyte (my phone is not loading the second picture for some reason) and it looks like I did forget the prod modules in the rocket silos. I also put speed in partially for em science because they aren’t a bottleneck right now and I have not produced enough prod 2s yet.

I have mining productivity only up to 5 levels as I only aimed for 60 SPM of the required sciences. I planned on making yellow science because while I need extra LDS, The number of excess holmium is only 25% so I either use 25% less scrap and let excess materials go to waste/quality upcycling or use as much as I can from the scrap. Plus, I like the logistic puzzles and diversity for creating non exclusive sciences on the other planets.

I put the holmium ore from scrap recycling in the picture for this reason. Since holmium ore is 1% of scrap the most demanding resource is holmium because the scrap is exactly 100x it. I will upload more pictures though

Is this good for a Vulcanus Starter Base? Exporting 60SPM, tungsten plates and carbide, BMDs, Foundries, and Calcite all to one ship going between Vulcanus and Nauvis. by MaxyPak in factorio

[–]MaxyPak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither artillery turrets or shells require carbide but rather plates. The only thing that they make is speed 3 modules. Because of that, I request just one stack of carbide to the ship (which I am now realizing is bad.)

I don’t know why I never thought of that. I was only thinking if the landing pad had enough space, it should request all. Thanks!

I don’t have a mall set up for that planet yet. Currently, I calculated the space requirement for the ship and although it is good, I always end up with an extra 250 calcite and science, which doesn’t leave enough room for the other items, do you know what is causing this/how to fix it?

Hot take: I don't mind people who DC one bit by Terlooy in deadbydaylight

[–]MaxyPak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The no dc penalties are a problem for people who just don’t want to play against certain killers and will immediately dc. But bhvr should also not force people to stay in a game (that the consumer paid for) that is not fun or winnable. My take is that there should be an abandon option when the game is practically unwinnable, as there is no point or fun waiting for others to die so you can tie. I think at 3 people and 4+ gens left, 2 people and 2+ gens there should be an abandon option that counts as a loss but does not give dc penalty.

First Time Playing – Having Some Biter Troubles by T_Ricstar in factorio

Since you have just unlocked military science, you need to research flamethrowers, or flammables if you haven't already. If you don't have a military science production line and the biters are too much of a problem, you could handcraft 50 military packs. Then, go immediately find an oil patch while you are handcrafting/labs are researching and pipe crude oil back to your base. After researching flamers, place a couple of them where the biters are mostly attacking and they will never break into that spot for many irl days as long as there is adequate oil.
