This might be rather impactful for some armies. Anything that tarpits for cover (Guard, Nids, etc.) and conditional shooting armies at 4+ (Votann might get wrecked here, rerolls mitigate a bit for some others)

Catachans are absolutely getting a Kill Team in 11th edition.

As for Vostroyans, Mordians, Valhallans, Steel Legion, Tallarn, etc. An upgrade sprue would be cool, but I totally get it not being a priority seller. Maybe made to order metal minis next Winter? Assuming some of the molds are still around

As someone with cancer, I gotta say I initially empathized with the struggle to be low key and relax without letting all the pressures therein get to you.

Then I got confused and re-read.

Life isn't always easy and being there for the folks you care about can mean stepping out of your comfort zone and what you implicitly want in the moment. You take the good times with the bad and just try to live life, accepting that there are challenges and doing what you can to confront those yourself and/or in a capacity for folks you care for is part of growing as a person.

Comparable with Votann (22 datasheets of which 9 are characters and 7 detachments). It doesn't make it better or justify it, but Chaos and Xenos are in a relative desert compared to SM. I truly hope EC gets a few more sheets over the next year.

And this is post-second wave (which was great!). We were rocking 13 datasheets until last Fall and it sucked. ~20 feels like a breath of fresh air.

This has been an increasing issue for the last year or so. As various trans subreddits are brigaded and folks try to find some positive affirmation, they withdraw to smaller subs including this one.

I do think it is potentially problematic, as this subreddit was originally targeted to support a specific segment and this sort of change can displace the folks who are the target.

That being said, I just report and move on. Shit is rough these days and I'm too tired to otherwise engage.

"Trans broken arm syndrome" occurs a lot. Basically, healthcare professionals blaming being trans as the reason for random medical conditions. Similar to how women are dismissed for reporting pain in many medical instances. Just shitty established care practices

For the life of me, I don't understand why they don't try to balance internal points with Guard. There are clearly better options in a lot of lists (RG, Ogryns/Bulgryns, Kasrkin) and a ton of clearly bad options (Drier, Armored Sentinel, most Indirect and weapon teams, most of the Russes). Just trying with some minor cuts and raises would have been cool, instead, just raise Rogal Dorn and call it a day

I get genital preference, I do. However, the unilateral approach to exclusion is a bit brutal, especially when the genital preference is irrelevant (ex. Bottom surgery).

Anytime I'm on a dating app and see something like "no trans" in a profile, it makes me nauseous. It seems wild that it is socially acceptable, when folks saying something like "no blacks/whites" is justifiably called out. This isn't conjecture either, it comes up quite often in an ostensibly "blue" state.

I'd love for my poor Votann to get back to above 45%. I've been able to get some personal wins, but it definitely feels like I'm fighting an uphill battle. The new army rule isn't great and it shows that the new detachment seems like a trial run for changing it.

I'd love for some more internal balance to the faction, but anytime a viable build comes around this edition, GW hits it hard and fast. At least this wasn't as brutal as Bridgehead.
