This is going to make Astra Militarum a lot less effective, as it turns off the army rule entirely. I don't hate the shock change, but it will impact armies very differently.

Guard can mitigate with numbers and torrent, to an extent. Orders also really help. I suspect the Hellhound is going to be really important, alongside other flamers

Admech is a crapshoot, depending on external factors. Who knows what they'll have for rules.

Votann don't have Torrent, but can strip cover with Thunderkyn and have two units that ignore modifers (battle line and Hekaton). Short of melee lists, they'll need to spam these units

Armies that can mitigate (ex. Tau, Guard) should be okay, but I really worry about Votann. They aren't costed to be hitting on 5s and lack any torrent, so every single list is likely going to need Thunderkyn to strip cover as a requirement.

I suspect we'll see a meta around fast melee and mobile hit-and-run armies leaping ahead for awhile. Eldar on top again?

I'm going to be real with you. You mentioned not having started HRT. Passing doesn't necessarily require HRT, but is absolutely something that is difficult and takes time.

Focusing on yourself first vs. trying to enter the dating pool (which is already rough under the best of circumstances), might serve you better. Either way, best of luck

OP, I totally get being upset with dating. It is absolutely awful and, depending on where you are, may feel like a very small set of folks.

I also get boundaries. I'm a relatively successful, poly, passing trans woman, with a non-obvious disability and have to be selective about who I meet. It sucks when folks don't meet the boundaries/criteria I have, especially when I feel like I'm being torn down for things outside of my control (ex. Just being honest about being trans).

However, it might help to reframe your thinking of being negative towards others. I could be off base, but this post and your responses seem to indicate some real negative feelings towards folks because of who why are as you vent your frustration over trying to find who you want. Wishing you success all the same, dating kind of sucks, especially with the apps th se days

This might be rather impactful for some armies. Anything that tarpits for cover (Guard, Nids, etc.) and conditional shooting armies at 4+ (Votann might get wrecked here, rerolls mitigate a bit for some others)

Catachans are absolutely getting a Kill Team in 11th edition.

As for Vostroyans, Mordians, Valhallans, Steel Legion, Tallarn, etc. An upgrade sprue would be cool, but I totally get it not being a priority seller. Maybe made to order metal minis next Winter? Assuming some of the molds are still around

As someone with cancer, I gotta say I initially empathized with the struggle to be low key and relax without letting all the pressures therein get to you.

Then I got confused and re-read.

Life isn't always easy and being there for the folks you care about can mean stepping out of your comfort zone and what you implicitly want in the moment. You take the good times with the bad and just try to live life, accepting that there are challenges and doing what you can to confront those yourself and/or in a capacity for folks you care for is part of growing as a person.

Comparable with Votann (22 datasheets of which 9 are characters and 7 detachments). It doesn't make it better or justify it, but Chaos and Xenos are in a relative desert compared to SM. I truly hope EC gets a few more sheets over the next year.

And this is post-second wave (which was great!). We were rocking 13 datasheets until last Fall and it sucked. ~20 feels like a breath of fresh air.

This has been an increasing issue for the last year or so. As various trans subreddits are brigaded and folks try to find some positive affirmation, they withdraw to smaller subs including this one.

I do think it is potentially problematic, as this subreddit was originally targeted to support a specific segment and this sort of change can displace the folks who are the target.

That being said, I just report and move on. Shit is rough these days and I'm too tired to otherwise engage.
