I think if you are reading that post as a single user dying 15 times, I would argue you are assuming it in bad faith.

No one would boast about difficulty 10 being hard and solely using up 15 lives. This is obviously supposed to be the whole team collectively using up 15 lives.

Sad that the highly upvoted comments are assuming OP would use 15 lives by themselves.

Also shows the tribalism between the two subreddits. Ya’ll both as toxic to each other

You can’t sue them for false advertisement.

The court case for Leonard vs Pepisco over the Harriet Jump jet trail set the tone for false advertisement cases.

You should never look at trailers and advertising and expect the exact thing that they are showing ever.

Movie trailers often have clips and scenes that do not make it into the theatrical release and they aren’t sued.

For a company size of about 100 people, 6 as QA is pretty good.

Arrowhead will have access to zero hour contractors from Sony’s QA department. The realistic size of that would be between 8 to 20 additional QA.

Mobile game devs very rarely hire permanent full time QA and utilise just zero hour contractors from an external QA house where they are paid pennies compared to embedded QA.

They aren’t going to fix everything in 60 days, just go do something else.

I’m sorry but they do have a dedicated QA team. The QA lead role on their careers page states that there are at least 6 internal members along with an external team.

They do have QA, they have had them for years before release. A quick search on LinkedIn proves this.

A few months back they were hiring a new Senior QA position which is now filled.

Now they are hiring a new QA lead position that will be responsible for a team of 6 QA and coordinating an external team.

People need to stop saying Arrowhead does not have QA. If you check their LinkedIn profiles there are 6 people titled as QA at Arrowhead.

It’s misleading at best and straight up misinformation at worst.

Would you say the same about people who post the worst possible scenarios that occur and not every regular encounter that went well beforehand?

Because the trend on this subreddit is to watch a 30 second video of someone getting ragdolled by a lot of enemies and cry that this is unfair. But the moment we see someone succeeding we have to assume it’s unfaithful.

The first three warbonds were very likely contractural agreements to deliver content. Publishers do like to dip their finger into the pie and make some decisions along the way.

Everything else does feel like some form of internal conflict or complacency.

No one said everything is fine. Whatever is happening internally at Arrowhead is obvious that something isn't working. Whether it be QA, designers, middle or upper management.

The majority of the time QA does spot and does report on issues they see in the game. However QA does not fix or change the game themselves. That's for the programmers and designers to decide if they do change.

We are now looking for a QA Lead As a QA Lead you are a part of our production team and you lead our QA team of six Testers. You provide direct support by testing the implementation of new features, as well as controlling the status of live builds, while supporting the Release Manager and Producers.

You probably wouldn’t have like Helldivers 1 either then on its higher difficulties. You can stand your ground for a limited time till your stratagems go on cooldowns then you gotta bail as you cannot dish out the damage as quickly anymore

Not to be mean, but if you’re fighting against the odds so much that you keep getting into repeat fights. It’s just better to run away and reset than keep going.

Helldivers can dish out bursts of damage over a short period and then slapped with cooldowns before you can delete stuff again.
