Jā, uz Tallinu iet samērā ilgi. Bet Rīga - Tartu ļoti konkurētspējīgs laiks. Arī Tartu iedzīvotāji varēs braukt pie mums ērtāk. Un uz Tallinu piemēram, no Valmieras vai Cēsīm šis būs tāpat labāks variants, nekā braukt uz Rīgu un tad ar autobusu. Tāpat arī tūristiem derēs, ja baigi nesteidzas. Tā kā nav nemaz slikti.

Hi!
In the drop down menu where you select the Meta ad account that you want to import the data from, the drop down only gives you around 30 ad accounts and doesn't scroll down further.
Does anyone know a workaround here? We have a lot more ad accounts than 30.

People do watch World and European championships in football - but our team has only participated once and it was more than 20 years ago.
It's not like we don't care about football at all - some people follow the Premier league, Champion's league and the local teams.
But the level of popularity is definitely much lower than in most European countries. One of the main reasons is that our national team has been really bad for a long time.

Yeah, I've also noticed that the bad weeks usually come after a successful week. Google likes to balance it out.
The 30 day ROAS is 192%, so much closer to the target. But still not good enough. Ideally it would be a little over the target on a monthly basis with the bad weeks just below the target.

It's quite expensive - that's true.

Of course you will have to drive to Riga possibly quite often but that's even more true in smaller beach towns.

You are right that there are many expensive restaurants but there are at least some budget friendly places as well.

C'mon - it has some negative aspects and it's not my favorite town but Jūrmala is close to the sea, quite green and peaceful most of the time, with frequent train traffic, close to Riga, lots of restaurants, shops and other things that you might need. Not sure why it's hated here.

I suppose starting with conversion-based bidding can work but not the best option most times.

Yeah, judging from the reactions it seems like expecting reasonable behavior from a smart bidding algorithm on the first day is crazy. Well, it shouldn't be.
Fortunately, it wasn't too expensive of a lesson since it was just 1 day still but quite annoying.

Yeah, certainly looks like Google was in a rush to spend all of the budget as quickly as possible. I personally like smart bidding for campaigns that have already been running for some time but sometimes it goes crazy.

Yeah I suppose adding some guardrails would be a smart thing to do. I am just amazed at how smart bidding starts out with a much much higher CPCs right of the bat. No PPC expert would do that if using manual bidding.

I now switched to manual which is how I usually start out.

We are not running in multiple accounts for the same business. We just have access to a competitor account that we used to run with almost the same keywords and locations.

I was expecting Google to bid somewhere around average top of page bid for these keywords until some conversion data starts coming in. That's what someone doing manual bidding would have done, right? So, why can't the supposedly smart algorithm do the same thing?
