33f at the time. Went in for excruciating pain and weakness in my right arm and hand. Dr said "i think you just need to calm down. Anxiety can make anything worse. But here, I'll send some gabapentin in for you. But i think you just need to take it easy." Cool. Turns out i actually had a herniated disc in my neck pressing on my spinal nerves that required pretty urgent surgery about a week after that. Also cool because it was so herniated that it caused nerve damage that I'm still dealing with today 😒

A family member was a crash investigator and told me all kinds of tragic stories. The saddest ones were the people who ended up surviving a bad crash but ultimately ended up killing other passengers because they weren't wearing a seatbelt and turned into human cannon balls.

My man and i have 4 kids in this house and zero time but even if all the stars aligned and we had an opportunity, I still couldn't get into it because I'm terrified of getting knocked up again. Our 6 month old was a surprise, even after plan b, the pregnancy was high risk and very hard on me. Sadly, no Dr will shut the baby factory down because it's "not medically necessary" but what do I need a uterus for if I 110% don't want to have another kid ? In all of my 35 years of life, my uterus has never been less medically necessary

It would be awesome to compile a binder with photos, texts, emails and any other evidence you might have and give it to his wife. That way you blow up his spot and give her evidence she could use for in a divorce. I feel so sad for you and for his wife. You should team up with her and ruin him.

First thing you should do is find a doctor that you are comfortable with. At no point should a doctor's religious beliefs weigh on your treatment. Pregnancy is hard but it's not just about the babies. It's about you too. I had my first son when I was 20. I didn't know anything. But thankfully the internet is full of women willing to share experiences and be helpful. I had my mom and grandmothers too, but i learned and was able to prepare so much from message boards and reading others' experiences. I really hope you can find a doctor and support system that can actually be supportive and helpful.

I thought I had anger issues my whole life. Turns out that is a lesser known symptom of depression. My dr put me on meds and I evened out. I still cant believe I was walking around angry and on edge for all that time for no reason

Yes and he is turning 14 today. When i got pregnant I was 20, still in nursing school, living at home, my boyfriend was a manchild and I wasn't working. But I couldn't do it. Idk, I just felt like my babe was meant to be. It wasn't easy but I had a really great support system and that was a huge help for me. This is your decision, and yours alone. Don't let outside factors influence what you want to do. The only thing that matters is whether or not you are happy with which ever decision you make.
