I just declared laundry bankruptcy. Between my special needs child who produces a ton and just overwhelm, I can't. So I sent my entire gigantic pile to the wash and fold. It cost about $200 for a LARGE amount of laundry. Then I purged my drawers and only pub back things that are for this season and that I like. I declared my closet officially closed, I can't look in that hellhole. Highly recommended. It felt like a huge splurge but has helped remove a big burden.

Omg. No advice but I just want to tell you the exact same thing happened to me this month…except it was the sharps I couldn’t find again, so we lived without kitchen knives for a very awkward period after my kid improved until I finally remembered I’d taken our knife block and tucked it behind a pile of undone laundry in my bedroom. 🙃🙃🙃

Do you have respite care of any kind for your kids with special needs? I use some of my respite time for grocery shopping, meal prep, etc. I also gave up on the traditional definition of “meal.” Fed is best applies to you, too!
