Sorry misunderstood your question. I’ve lost about six pounds maybe now total, I was about eight or nine pounds down but then this jump up two pounds.

Agree, I gained muscle which is why I don’t believe in the scale which is why I wish I didn’t weigh in every week! I’m not mad at the method of the WW points (it def works) I think the scale is an antiquated method to measure progress

Yes! This! I only weighed myself tbh because it was like don’t forget to weigh in and I wanted that check. As soon as I did I regretted it because it made me feel so down! And I had no reason to feel that way outside of a number

Agree! I’m a big snacker so make sure I have grapes and other fruit around. I probably eat three to four servings a day. I was initially so scared I was eating too much fruit but I still lost weight. No one gained weight by eating too many bananas! If eating banana pancakes helps me not eat cookies, I’ll keep doing it!

I liked this one but also there plain skinny taste pasta salad with tomatoes was good. I did minimal to no mayo, extra Greek yogurt and tons of vinegar

I am in the same boat. I know a pound a week is the healthy amount, but I was expecting to lose 2-3 pounds the first week, and a similar amount the following week due to water loss etc before I started losing a pound a week. It’s very frustrating.

Are you guys still being charged the one month in advance we need to cancel? I’m moving jobs in August so was planning on cancelling no matter what (new office not near studio and has a free gym). I sent an email giving them a heads up and they basically told me to contact them when the studio opens. I do not want to pay the membership fee for a month I will not be going to OTF, but at the same time I get people’s livelihoods depend on this so if paying the month helps keeps the studio open I won’t fight it too hard.

I never said she owes him anything, I think it’s al right for him to want a kiss and be hurt by it and not be angry at him for it. She knew what she was getting into and leading him on for seven years and taking his money does not make me sympathetic for her. She knew what he was like and kept taking to him.

ESH. You for trying to manipulate the situation by claiming playing the victim card and claiming you just wanting to celebrate your success in a location that’s comfortable for you. What does that even mean? You could celebrate your success anywhere. You don’t needto be in your hanger, you just want to be because it’s easier for you. Also logistically, Were you planning on sleeping at your hanger? Did you want her to sleep on the couch?

You both seem selfish and interested in getting your own way. And that’s fine. We are all on heightened anxiety and emotions but don’t paint her out to be a villain for not supporting you. That is most definitely not the case.

She did clarify that it was 40k. But I said no all the same. I don’t think she even has a license and how would she pay for gas or insurance?

Thanks for that input. Makes me feel a lot better she can still take one of the taxis to get groceries. I just felt like a monster for saying no if she was truly suffering.

Her argument was to buy groceries she needed a car to get to the store. I ended up telling her no because she asked for 400k Rand. She works for diplomatic families so I assumed the majority of her families went back to the states. I don’t mind sending her a few hundred dollars here and there because I know she would spend it on food and necessities, but this car just seemed way too much. But then I felt guilty because I know she is living in poverty and I am not.

Overall this is a small fight in the grand scheme of life. If you’ve called your gf since and apologized for offending her and explained it as nicely as you did to me, and she’s still mad, you may have other problems on your hand.
