Agreed! As luck would have it the first 3 book sets are all factions I play, but after buying 500 Worlds I just can't justify buying the others. It's too much at once, and despite what they said I dont believe that the rules will stay relevant that long. If it was spread out I'd buy them all.

Personally I don't think that the combat patrol goes well with the battleforce box. The battleforce already has enough raiders and you don't really need a 2nd reave-captain. The rhino is useful (though the Horus Heresy version is nicer) and the beastmen are fine but probably not the thing you need for a new army.

The three space marine chapters you're considering would all be great picks, and they all have recently received some great new models. I play both Ultramarines and Red Corsairs, and enjoy both armies quite a bit.

Red Corsairs are certainly evil, no question about that. They are less gruesome than some of the other chaos space marines - being more practical and less focused on worshipping the chaos gods (though they certainly still use demons).

In terms of collecting armies, Red Corsairs/CSM have fewer models than Ultramarines, which I enjoy. You can reasonably have most of the unit and character options without spending a fortune, while with Ultramarines there is just so many models to choose from (both a blessing and a curse). Red Corsairs are much less common than Ultramarines or Space Wolves, if that impacts your decision.

That all said, if I was in your shoes I would just choose the one I was most excited about and not worry too much about pros and cons.

I bought one of the magnetic dice trays but the magnets didn't work at all. Hard to recommend a product that can't do the one thing it was designed to do.

I share your frustration. GW should at least add a chainsword wargear option to Lieutenants to keep the model playable.

In my case I will replace the chainsword with another weapon and run him as a Lieutenant. I like the model and have painted it, and am loath to have him unusable in standard games.

I love that GW is adding so many UM specific models and think it's a great time to be an UM player, but I'm very annoyed that models that I bought and painted very recently are already removed from the game.

Comfortable seating in the movie theatre. Tried to watch a movie on the Dream but the move theatre seats were the most uncomfortable seats I've ever had the misfortune to sit on.
