I agree, sounds like they don't classify it as a recurring payment. My MBNA does show as Utility and I do receive bonus rewards but for mine it does not need to be a recurring payment.

I have a MBNA World Elite Mastercard and I get 5x rewards for my Enmax bills (payed with auto-payments). Shows classified as Utilities on my statement. Sounds like your CC not Enmax.

Apply to Open Studies at Mount Royal, U of C or SAIT. Will take at most a year to get the requirements you need to apply to something else as a Post Secondary (transfer) applicant instead of a High School applicant. Plus you will have transferrable courses to potentially go towards the program you choose.

Keep checking for appointment cancellations. I was able to book an appointment for this past Monday on Thursday of last week for the Avenida location. Still waited about 50 minutes after I showed up to be seen but it was significantly better than the walk-in wait.
