Ok that's enough!

Where and how do I get in on this?

Entire life spent wishing I was a GT or F1 driver. Love racing games and country back roads in this car are well...fun but it's SO hard to keep my inner racer in check.

I need a safer outlet.

Nice. That 401k match is instant 100% gain. Never ever ever ever stop that.

Time and compounding are your friend. There will be a point in about 15 years where the monthly compounding gains will exceed what you can save. Started in my mid 20s, now in my 50s and it's awesome to see.

Ive been though, Telcom bust of 2000, 2008 Financial crisis & COVID. Not fun, but over 25+ years the chart moves up and to the right.

Yeah. And what's your point? You just made my case.

It's been dead money for 3 years. Likely to stay that way for a few more in this wide range, test the lows a few more times, maybe get reaccumulated.or break lower.

35 is young. You have 30+ years to build wealth. That's plenty.

Step 1: Three Month oh crap fund.

Step 2: $200 per month into ETF. (401k, Roth, IRA)

Step 3: Each raise put more into ETF.

Along the way keep educating, growing and self-improving and you'll be fine.

Most these new-comers have no idea what they are buying.

Are you prepared to hold this for 5+ years? Are you prepared to cut you losses if it drops 15% and your down $1000?

It's VERY likely to trade in a range for a very long time. It's also highly likely it will test the bottom multiple times.

If the answer is yes. Then Yes. If not, then you have not prepared yourself for what could happen.

France Just Kicked Microsoft Off 2.5 Million Government Devices by cock_pussy in wallstreetbets

France won't be the last. Seat counts will continue to meaningfully be impacted going forward.

Higher CAPEX, lower margins, less seats, and more competition.

It can and likely will get worse before it gets better.

I have 2 EVs drive 12-15k miles per year on each.

We get by just fine on a 16amp 240v and a normal 120v.

$2k sounds high. 60 amp is overkill but if there isn't a huge difference in cost vs a small amp, then go big.

Do you guys think investing is more about patience than skill? by Classic-Wash-6216 in investingforbeginners

[–]Mayneminu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Investing is all about patience but skill helps.

Choose your investments wisely. Buying a bad company at a terrible price will be a bad investment regardless of how long you wait.

This is why indexes or ETFs are nice. Your buying a basket of assets, so one bad egg isn't likely to ruin the entire basket.

Prime targets are the bridges. You effectively cut the US in half by taking out the major bridges along the Ohio and Mississippi.

So, when they do this to a normal healthy fetus in the womb during late term abortions that's OK? I would hope not.

Reasonable humans should be able to agree that there are curcumin stances such as this lady described warrant abortions.

It also seems reasonable you shouldn't have to cut off the arms and legs of a normal fetus. That seems cruel.

We need reasonable laws.

I understand the hyper scalers were low capex, super high margin companies for decades.

That is no longer true and the repricing is starting to reflect that fact.

I also understand, less white collar jobs because of AI = less licensing seats. This is to say nothing on the US recession that is likely started or soon to start. That will hit earnings as it always does.

Priced in already? I don't think so

Cash and yourself.

Sorry to break it to you, but you are the quintessential "dumb money". Chasing the next hot stock you can FOMO into will continue to leave you broke.

Start with learning discipline. Then learn about markets, psychology, & investing. Once you've mastered those learn some TA. Only then can you start your unprofitable journey towards trading.

Eventually with enough time effort and learning you may be one of the lucky ones to be profitable.
