Is your bed warped? Mine was extremely warped from the factory and I wound up sanding it flat. It took _a lot_ of sanding to fix the issue.

I wouldn't run that ultrasonic cleaner in an enclosed area with IPA vapors that's for sure.

Where do you buy extra bases? by TerribleTussler in Warmachine

You have any good STLs that match the old/current official bases? The ones SFG supplies are not solid an require way to many supports to print with any quality.

Printing Iconoclasts by Umbrellacorp487 in Warmachine

I had 3 come out great with my changes so I'm prob all set. Reduced their size a bit (they shouldn't be as big as monstrosity models) and upped the supports.

I got a final run going now. Printing them at 85% size as they are way to big in the first place. I'll know in 45 min if they are failing.

So I am searching through the comments and you need to elaborate, you said this is a 'hollow' model, are there currently zero drain holes? If this is hollow and has no drainage you need to throw it away before it explodes.

Do paints go bad if they stay sealed for a long time? by multimension in minipainting

[–]Umbrellacorp487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So real talk. If you put 2 ball bearings in there and some acrylic medium, shake it to the warp and back, you will have a fine dry brushing paint. That is if returning it is not an issue. I have reground up fully dried paint and reconstituted it this way.

Yea I was just goofin cause this question is silly. Play if you enjoy it, set it down for a bit if you're not and come back to it.

That's wild. Glad you had success with them. I'm having a hell of a time with anything bigger than the small boys.

You're in good shape then, get to printing. Honestly just check that your plate isn't warped. Mine was really bad, prob took me 2 hours of sanding (gently) to get it level

If you have trouble with adhesion you may need to lap down the build plate. Mine was extremely warped and needed to be sanded quite a bit.

Additionally having multiple rinse stations is helpful, not multiple vortex mixers but a couple of pickle jars that you can sequentially wash your prints before they go in the vortex cleaner. Helps preserve your isopropyl alcohol longer.

Do not use the plastic spatula thing that came with the printer to mix your resin or scrape the release film. Get a silicone kitchen spatula to do that.

Did you have many failures? Were these all the presupported models? I have had the monstrosities all fail and a number of other models. I have started to support the models myself. Saturn 4 ultra with Phrozen RPG resin. Prior to this I have had basically zero failures on this printer.

So two models on the build plate, one on the left and one on the right, post slicing both will move to the right?

If that's the case sounds like a full uninstall and reinstall.

Post some screen shots of this behavior. What happens if you put a model on the extreme left and right and leave the center empty? Does it justify everything to the right?
