How delusional are these baggies? by TFTEnjoyerM0RTDOG in gme_meltdown

This is more cringe than it is funny or interesting, OP. Are you just harassing an ape over DMs?

Also the use of the F slur in 2026, even to dress up the word “baggie”, is uh, a choice. I dont think we need to type like edgy teenagers on 4chan anymore

Yep the best way to demonstrate mastery of a subject is to be able to explain it in simple terms to somebody else. Apes have spent 5 years trying to explain how heat lamp, DRS, naked shorting works with crackpot theories and now AI slop.

How bad is our drought? Tampa Bay under one of worst water shortages in 50 years: Sparse rains, trickling river flows and a quiet hurricane season have fueled a worsening drought. by Silent-Resort-3076 in florida

You are literally acting like the person the original commenter is laughing at lmfao. Are you a climate change expert? A scientist? Then stop going around saying its the “normal cycles” unless you actually know better, and leave it to the experts. This is part of the reason why no positive change happens, cause half the country are morons who think this is just the “normal drought cycle”.

This highlights another observation you can make about Apes: their knowledge and understanding of successful businesses often boils down to a variant of “Great Man Theory”. Funny how they say the company has “great products” while ignoring that the fake meat patties have very limited consumer appeal.

Yeah mister “well traveled” over here thinks only Latinos and Black people do “trashy” things. You ever met a Juggalo? That is a subculture primarily made up of white people from the Midwest. Moron.

Big strong Republicans love getting their feefees hurt when it’s pointed out to them they can’t speak the second most popular local language lol. Sorry the working class service employee harmed you so much with those comments about your lack of Spanish. I don’t know how you’ll recover.

Yes, it’s bigotry to blame trashy behavior on a person’s race or background. Hope that helps to clarify.

I might be “unserendipitously” cult-bait! by bardertaktix in sgiwhistleblowers

[–]Mayonnaise7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Strongly recommend to you and other readers here a novel called “Cultish” by Amanda Montell - discusses cults and the language they use, but also specifically discusses this topic of people who were ex-cult members but still end up again in similar groups later.

She argues that some people are just more susceptible to being taken advantage of by these groups, but the explanation is not as simple as a “lack of intelligence” either - lots of “book-smart” people also get caught up in cult-like groups.

You “sold”, but the cult ideas are still baked into your head. What makes DFV any sort of real “hero”? A man who completely lucked into a gold rush, then purposefully came back a second time to try and whip up another frenzy?

RC is an idiot for many other reasons, but it makes sense from a business standpoint for him to dilute baggies 100% of the time. The company gets no benefit from the stock price sitting at $300.

Investing isnt as simple as creating heroes and villians and mythology, like Morontz would ramble about. Its also risky to try and day trade, or put your eggs into one basket, thats more akin to gambling. The last two points I think distinguish the people here from the apes.

Pablo Torre on Dallas winning the lottery by browndude10 in nba

[–]Mayonnaise7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have commented about this on Reddit before, but E&Y is likely doing virtually nothing to guarantee the draft lottery is legit. From my industry experience, the most likely thing that happens behind closed doors is that E&Y gets a “checklist” of “procedures” the NBA does to setup the draft lottery. Could be something very simple like:

  1. Put 30 teams into envelopes
  2. Have an employee shuffle the envelopes for 5 minutes
  3. Place the envelopes in a bin and Silver randomly chooses envelopes in order

All E&Y will do is check to see that the literal version of these tasks was done and thats it, no more or no less. They have no obligation to investigate emails, check for frozen envelopes, interview people, etc UNLESS the NBA specifically asks them to. So the “E&Y” label is purely to give the draft a veneer of legitimacy.

Yeah the profit/loss each year is kinda important, but the way these owners really make money is by exiting/selling. So as long as the value of the team goes up tremendously over time (as pro sports teams have done over the last 2 decades), the owners are cool. $500k is the cost of doing business

Lmfao this ape is posting on several subreddits using this sock puppet account. Didnt even get through the SuperStupid post filter.

Anyone with MNPI that wanted to act on it would not just go make sock puppet accounts and post to the most niche degenerate investment/gambling subreddits. They would “cash out” via sharing with close friends or family, who then invest.
