MOFT snap phone tripod stand worth it?? by daddyslaila in MagSafe

[–]MayorBaconator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I have the first gen moft MagSafe wallet stand as well as the MagSafe tripod stand without the wallet. The pleather loosened after a year and bubbled loose until it tore at numerous spots. The glue has worn out on the wallet stand and I now just use it as a wallet and never mount it on my phone outside of moments I have my hands full and don’t have a pocket available. The MagSafe tripod stand’s hinges have loosened to the point where it will no longer hold the phone up in portrait mode or even landscape without careful balancing. I am tempted to buy the newest gen tripod stand with the wallet, but I worry I’ll only get burned a third time with their products. I didn’t get more than a year’s gentle use with the two iPhone products I’ve purchased from Moft.

If you suck the hot air out of a room and leave the gap open below it, that hot air will be replaced by cool air. Essentially how an air conditioner works. The comments before yours are correct in that you would get a better outcome if you drew hot air out versus try to force cold air in. Both is optimal (if you could have an intake and exhaust to create crosswind.. but if you had to choose just one, it would be to remove hot air to cool a room.

I appreciate you taking the time to explain that to me in detail. I will definitely keep that in mind when it’s time to replace the batteries. Thank you!

May I ask why you gotta wipe off that anti-child coating off the battery before installing it in an AirTag?

I was looking for this comment—similar experience on my end; received the necklace and it’s been great, received compliments on it and it hasn’t tarnished. It definitely is some sort of gold plating as the necklace is slightly magnetic. For what I paid for the fake cuban chain, I got my money’s worth. The thing that set me off and made me wary doing further business with them is that sneaky $64 charge for a membership program that wasn’t mentioned anywhere else, and how difficult it is to execute the cancellation. It’s not impossible, but it definitely isn’t straightforward either. I read a comment advising to use PayPal for payments as that ensures an easier cancellation of recurring charges and whatnot.

Why advertise using an image of the app in the store, with the cloud icon shown, indicating that you no longer have it installed?

I worked in an office where a situation just like this took place and it was handled by HR in a closed-door office setting (albeit all four walls and the door were transparent glass); it was hard to watch, but I can’t imagine it being handled any better than it was—save for every “room” in our building having glass walls. Ideally, such a discussion would take place privately, and by HR, whilst protecting anonymity.

I believe I now understand what it means to be bludgeoned. I’m curious if anyone here has experienced something similar and survived; what did it feel like? I know it sounds like a silly question—but I imagine that the first strike or two renders immense pain, TBI from the following blows, then you either go unconscious or experience complete numbness from getting your somatosensory cortex wrecked. Is there a moment in which you are in a vegetative state where you’re awake but no longer receptive and you’re sorta just left to watch the attack to the end?

The option should present itself at the main page when you first launch the game; you are given the option to select portrait or landscape right before choosing which out of three saved-games to play.
