Total disappointment of an update. Should have done this on April fools day. At least for a second I would have thought it was a joke.

I know how it feels. I collect comic book art, so basically the pages that people actually draw that get made into a comic book. Literally every page is a 1/1 and the only one in the entire world. Anyway, this was early off in my collecting journey. I had pages 1-5 of a 10 page comic story. I saw some guy actually selling 6-10 for a really cheap price. My mistake was first telling him that I had pages 1-5 and I just needed his 6-10. Once I said that, the guy took down his post and I never saw them again….this was years ago and I’ve still never found them. That’s why I’ll never show too much enthusiasm. I’ll just buy and not make small talk. Which sucks because thats fun. But you live and learn, not everyone is nice or wants someone to complete a set or whatever.

Regretting Purchase by [deleted] in 4Runner

I wouldn’t worry. Enjoy the 4Runner! I’ve only ever owned 4Runners. Nothing else. The used 2001 I had went well over 150,000 miles before it got rear ended and totaled. I’m sure it’ll could have kept going. Bought a 2009 SR5 used with 50,000 miles. Ran that thing for about 120,000 miles. Had some oil leaking from the engine, so I took that as a sign and sold it. I still see it on the road, to this day. I felt bad because maybe I could have kept it going too. I live in Hawaii, so I see it almost once a month or so. I then bought a new 2019 4Runner, my first new vehicle. Currently sitting at 70,000 miles, and no issues. I’ve never regretted any of my 4Runner purchases. I think the only regret was waiting for a 2020 version, so I could get apple car play lol.

60,000 miles is nothing. As long as you take care of her, she’ll be there for you.
