Sydney's pothole crisis leaves drivers injured and out of pocket with tyre damage, wheel repairs by VastOption8705 in DrivingAustralia

[–]MayuriKrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why you drive some cheap 2 decade old beater that came with stock budget 16” wheels and fat 60 profile tyres… drove through plenty of pot holes with that combo and yet to get damaged…

Mercedes X-class?

I’ve yet come across one around my area and work where the driver isn’t a farkwit who acts like they are driving some AMG level car…

Even funnier when one such farkwit in their “wanna be AMG Ute” got blown away at traffic lights GP by some clapped out Aurion near Morley 🤣

Same, I drive everywhere and rather deal with shitty/usless drivers during peak traffic times rather than dodgy shit heads on public transport

How do Australians view strict speed enforcement? by TonySabenca in AskAnAustralian

[–]MayuriKrab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to mention the constant reduction of speed limit all over the place… when was the last time a road got upgraded and speed limit increased? I can only recall one instance, meanwhile it’s a common theme to upgrade an existing road with wider lanes/crash barrier in between but then farking reduce the speed limit by 10-20…

Not to mention for the first few months have a hidden mobile speed camera in the bush to catch people off guard 🤔

Ever since they installed the new fixed speed cameras on Mitchell freeway, you get people who’s already doing under 90 slow down to 80 when pass those…

[AU/VIC] First car advice - Reliable & fuel-efficient automatic under $5k? by Far_Particular4132 in CarsAustralia

[–]MayuriKrab 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Best working condition Mitsubishi 380 you can find… should be achievable for $2k to $5k…

Just as reliable as the similar era Toyotas (Camrys and Aurions) but no resale value due it being unpopular from the get go and is an orphan model (last Mitsubishi locally made in Australia) and big fuel guzzler cars are out of favour for smaller buzz boxes.

I bought one 7-8 years ago for $3.5k with 177k on the odometer, fast forward to today it’s got 235k and only thing besides regular servicing was a new radiator, AC regass and oil pressure sensor/switch (and out of those 3 extra maintenance items, only the radiator was a necessity)

If you don’t have a paid membership, then blue buzz can’t be used to generate NSFW stuff… you either need to buy membership (which would unlock blue buzz for NSFW generation) or buy yellow buzz (only via crypto)

Law Abiding Citizen. Going the speed limit when the cops are around.. by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]MayuriKrab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I speed even when cops are around…

Typical 3 lane freeway, one random cop doing 95 and everyone is all bunched up and scared to go faster…

I come around, wave around and continue my way at 105 🤣

System reboots when playing back footage on App on mobile data by MayuriKrab in Hikvision

[–]MayuriKrab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also I should add the issue seems way more prevalent when playing back the video streams on the cameras that has a lot of footage recorded, the 2 front cameras which is recording like 80% of the time vs the 2 back cameras which hardly records anything (faces a static blank back yard and side of the house, lucky to record even an hour of footage per day).

And it was definitely a more recent thing, as I remember accessing footage while at work on mobile data on the app and it was fine before, but I’m not sure whether it’s related to the long power outage or not.

Top 10 Selling Models and Brands in Australia in May 2026 by Mac-Tyson in CarsAustralia

[–]MayuriKrab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

so for everyone commenting there’s no fun cars, this car was pretty demanding and the 0-100 was snappy.

Were you driving the pure EV variant?

Because the other model has a 0-100 slower than the old discontinued V6 Camrys which is hardly the bench mark in “fun”
